*beep**beep**beep* my alarm sounded and I groaned and rolled over to shut it off...I am NOT a morning person.if I don't get my 8-9 hours of sleep....let's just say you don't want to find out

Hi, I'm Vanessa Black, I'm 17 and I belong to the Red Blood Pack, the Third highest pack in the U.S. My dad's the Beta, which means I'm the beta's daughter. Oh did I forget to mention I'm a werewolf? Oops? Well yeah I kinda am so...my dad helps Alpha Shane with a bunch of duties and other stuff. Tomorrow were throwing him a party for his 18th birthday...he will find his mate. A mate is shortened for a soulmate. You can't live without them and if you get rejected by your mate you will slowly over time die and your wolf will to. It is really rare for a wolf to get a second chance mate...it's never happened in my pack. Every Alpha is coming tomorrow...even Alpha Xavier Reid.😱

So I want to introduce my family.

My dad Max (the beta) is 47 and in love with my mom. He cooks and helps Alpha Shane.

My Mom Julia is 46 and is a terrible cook. She is a pack doctor...we have 3 of them.

Then there's my 6 year old brother Carstyn. He's a stinker but I love him.

I have 2 best friends but you'll meet them later.

I get up and grab my clothes for the shower. I use my vanilla shampoo and conditioner and strawberry body wash. After I'm done I get out and put on my undergarments and clothes. For my makeup I do powder, mascara, and a winged eyeliner. I blow dry my hair into its natural curls and head downstairs. I hear my mom yell a "goodmorning" and I mumble a "morning" back at her. After I ate my cereal I headed to the last day of my high school career.

When I arrived at school I was met by my best friend Cody. I greeted him "hey cody" he was really giddy. "Hey Nessa!, can you believe it? Our last day of high school and we're graduating tommrow! I'm gonna miss you" tears threatened to spill, Cody is like a brother to me, I held them back. "I know Cody, me to" I hugged him. We headed to my locker and Cassie finally showed up with a look of horror on her face. "Cassie what's wrong?" I asked her. "I just found out that the Alpha of the #1 pack is coming to our school to speak at graduation tomorrow" by the end of her sentence she was shaking....so was I.
