Throughout my entire life I was always told I had potential, not anything else. Just plain potential. Those people always said, " if you really put your mind to something Braelynn, you could do it", makes me sound incredibly lethargic I know, however I never took their words in to consideration.
Does a human really want to constantly hear those words repeated to them over and over again even though they are doing something with their lives, yet no one seems to notice. I could bend over backwards for a person to make them feel worth while yet people have never congratulated me for anything I achieve because its all less than what's statistically an 'unbelievable achievement'.
As I said, I never took their words in to consideration...until now.
At the ripe age of twenty, I have decided to seize the day and take life by the balls and make a difference and explore the worlds beauty. Where I'm from, you only get a small fragment of the world on your doorstep. If you take just one step more off that doorstep, you can access any beauty in the world.
Today, I spread my 'has potential' wings and fly away, to see the world from a different angle, to have my views changed and altered, to witness incredible things and to meet extraordinary people.
This is when my life begins.
