Something To Remember

The Beginning

(Tiffany's pov)

Tiffany pov ) I walked home from school to Mr. Rogers house, I blasted music into my brain I knew how much Mr. Rogers hated it when I'm doing that but it was just funny. Soon I got to his house and opened the door "Mr.Rogers I'm home from school!"
"Turn your music down!" Steve yelled back from down the hall, where he was sitting in his office. He couldn't hear my music, but just knew I'd be playing it at a ridiculous volume. "Ditch your stuff and come in here, there's a couple of people here to see you!"

I raise a brow 'who would be here to see me?' I think to myself throwing my stuff on the couch and went into his office. Steve was sitting in his chair, leaning back. Two people say on the sofa opposite. One guy stood up and walked over to her, holding out his metal arm to shake her hand. "So you're the kid Steve was talking about." I took his offer to shake his hand "depends on what he's saying about me" I smirk.
"She's got spunk, Steve. I'm Bucky, by the way. Bucky Barnes." Bucky went and sat back down, just as the other person stood. He was about the same age as me, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. He gave me a grin and waved. "Hi, I'm Leo. Leo Baird." "Sup" I say waving slightly then crossed my arms, I glance over at Mr. Rogers then back at bucky and leo.

Steve stood up, going over to Bucky. "Bucky and I have some things to discuss quickly, so why don't you two head to Tiffany's room for a while." Leo nodded and looked to me, waiting for me to lead the way. "Follow me" I say heading out of the office to my room, I opened my door and over a hundred band and anime posters where all over my room and over my bed was a American flag but most of my room was dark. Leo looked around my room as he entered. "It's... Unique." He commented quietly, looking at the posters on the wall. "Yeah...I'm in a emo phase hehe" I laugh and flopped on my bed.

Leo stayed by the door, hands behind his back and leaning his shoulder on the doorframe. "So... I'm guessing you have powers too?" "Yep" I say and raised my hand up and made red light surround my hand.
Leo smirked. "That's cool. Way cooler than my powers, they suck." He frowned. "I have a permanent force field around my body. It means that nothing dangerous can touch me, but it also means nothing living can touch me. It's very lonely." He sighed deeply.

"I'm sorry.." I say wanting to give him a hug but I couldn't. "Hey, I've never felt pain. I guess that's a plus." He grinned and shrugged. "And I can't get ill either. Because bacteria is living, it doesn't get through my shield."
"Lucky...sometimes I wish I had the not getting sick thing" I pout crossing my arms.
"I've never sneezed or coughed in my life." He laughed. "You are so fucking lucky" I say sticking my tounge out at him. He grinned just as Steve shouted from his office, from were he and Bucky were. "You can come back now! Do you two want to go for some food?" Once Mr. Rogers said good I bolted out of my bedroom sliding on the wood floor in my socks almost falling "food?"

Leo followed hurriedly, laughing as i slid. "Food sounds really good right now, Mr Rogers." He grinned as Steve and Bucky laughed at the two younger ones. I smile and slipped on some convers and grabbed my black hoodie. With my miss matched eyes I would always cover up my orange eye with my hair so I wouldn't be stared at when ever I went outside. Leo picked up the hoodie he'd brought with him, sliding it over his head. His hair got all messed up, but he didn't seem very bothered by it. I look at Mr. Rogers and smile "Leo race ya!" I say taking off out the door down the hall heading to the stairs. It was stupid this apartment building didn't have a elevator but oh well.

Leo smirked and watched her run, then dived out the tenth story window. "It's on!" He screamed as he fell, laughing. Once I saw him pass the widow by the stairs I yelled "HEY NO USING POWERS!!" I jump on the stair railing and slid down. Leo hit the ground, concrete smashing all around him. He lay on the ground, completely in harmed, laughing hysterically. "That was amazing!" After a while I exited the building "you are a dirty cheater!!" I laughed "I am not! I just... Used my advantages wisely!" He giggled, only for his face to turn guilty as Steve and Bucky ran out the door. Steve stood next to me, and Bucky ran over to Leo, grabbing him by the shoulders. "Jesus Leo!" Bucky went from a frown to a grin in a second. "That was bloody awesome!" Leo grinned too and jumped up and down in excitement. "Right? Man, do you think I could try from our roof when we go home?!" Bucky grinned and nodded. Steve stood with one hand on my shoulder. He frowned at the whole Leo had made. "You made a hole in my pavement."

I laugh slightly at Mr. Rogers comment then put my hoodie pockets "relax Mr. Rogers it's not that big of a hole and beside I can fix it easily" I say smiling up at him. Steve smiled and shook his head. "What would I do without you, Tiffany? Hey Buck, do you wanna drive?" "I'll drive!" Leo screamed. "Leo, you're fifteen." Steve retorted, frowning. "I just jumped out of a building. Surely I can drive a car!" Leo grinned and Bucky shook his head, tossing his car keys to Leo. "Yes!"
I looked up to the sky and whispered "oh lord have mercy on meh soul" I smiled and climbed into the car.
Leo clambered in the drivers seat, turning on the ignition and flooring the accelerate pedal as soon as everyone was in.
