Tired

A/N Again, posted on Facebook. I had posted a status, something alike, "Alright, I have no inspiration tonight, so that means no poem. And I'm pretty tired. So g'night." And then. Yeah. The original Author's Note will tell you the rest.

A/N Alright, so I said I had no inspiration and I was tired (which, I am), but putting the word, "I'm tired" kind of gave me inspiration. Just the tiniest bit.

And I might be stubborn.

So yeah.

I'm tired of this world we live in

Where you are needlessly ridiculed

And scrutinized

And judged.

The world would be a more lively place

If you weren't just given more than a glance

And no such chance

At saying, "Hello."

Or even utter, "Hi."

Without them thinking to themselves,

"Ew. I don't want to be friends with them."

Or,

"I hope no one I know sees me conversing

With this weirdo."

I am tired of your needless shit,

Where, when someone speaks their mind,

People yell back,

"No one cares!"

And when you dress up once,

Someone calls you a poser

Or even a diva.

If someone reads books,

They are a geek.

If someone knows how to use a computer,

They are a freak.

If someone wears what comfortable for them,

They are weird.

And if someone wears something that doesn't match,

They are called obscene.

And then people try to give them fashion advice,

Like they even care,

When really, it just makes them even agrier,

More agitated,

And closer to snapping at them to, "Shut the fuck up,

I don't give a shit."

And they claim to be perfect

And they rise in popularity

But can't do one thing that makes them better

Than the rest of the annoying,

And, frankly, unneeded people in this world.

And let's not forget,

That they have no courage

Unless they are behind something powerful,

Such as: a gun.

I'm just tired of it.

Tired of it all.

But, before I go,

Let me ask you this important question:

Won't you just take a second to look at yourself?
