Jimmy was a junior, 17, and had a disease. He was a boy with Narcolepsy, it is a defect that causes a episode where the person with it randomly falls asleep in a moment of shock, stress anxiety, and so on. Since he would have these episodes no one wanted to be his friend because they were scared. Not of him, just that he would get hurt because of on and they would be blamed.
