Although this is a werewolf book, this won't be the typical cliché book so here's some important info to keep in mind:
Mates:
Mates are supposed to be cherished and are gifts given by the moon. They are not supposed to be rejected at all. It is incredibly rare for wolves to reject their gifts but not unheard of. If a wolf decides to mark another wolf that isn't their true mate, the mark will not stay. A mark will only stay if the moon allows for the mark to stay, binding the two wolves together. A wolf can only have children with their given mate unless the moon permits for another wolf to have the bond.
Rogues:
Rogues are not a thing. There won't be rogue wars or evil rogues looking for revenge. "Rogues" are simply lone wolves that do not live within a pack and do not follow within tradition.
The Moon Goddess:
No, the Moon Goddess does not exist - at least not in my book. I have the intention on having these characters follow within "tradition", if you will, and simply believe that the moon is their power source. I believe it'll be more authentic and hope you can agree.
