It all went wrong because of the Separation, as they had called it. It was to spilt up werewolves and put them in groups of other werewolves they didn't know. That's how he ended up here. Where? In the middle of the forest in his sleek wolf form, running, in which he knew the direction she would have went in. She fled because she knew they were coming. Who? The separators, the ones who made sure the Separation went as planned. He ran and panted but grunted as his body begged to stop for a moment. He had been so caught up in his thoughts, he hadn't realized there was a giant tree in front of him. He skidded to the side, barely missing it. He heard a crack from the trees above and flicked his ears towards the sound. He shook his head and kept running,'This is not possible!' He grumbled as his wolf, Amberpounce, spoke up, he got the name Amber because of his wolf's name. He stopped to rest and padded to a near pond. He lapped up some water and sat back on his haunches. He sighed and stood up, shifting and grabbing the bag he let fall to the floor as he drank. He pulled out a towel and a fresh set of clothes. He stepped into the pond and hissed at the freezing temperature. He sunk in and leaned his head back, letting his blonde-brown hair fall into the water. When he resurfaced he came face to face with a sandy light brown and chocolate wolf. Her blue-green gaze lightly resting on him, he had the same eyes as the wolf but lighter. He motioned for her to turn around so he could dress. The wolf snorted but did so anyway. He dried off and dressed so he wouldn't have to be stark naked in front of the wolf. He let out a short, brief whistle to let her know he was done. She turned around and he expected her to shift but she didn't. Instead she just stood there, he motioned for her to shift and held up the towel. She just shook her head and he looked down at the wolf causing his wet hair to fall into his eyes. She looked away and sighed. He stopped, dropped the towel and ran behind a nearby tree and stripped down again and shifted. He came out and it seemed the female let out a wolfy gasp. He shrugged it off and kept towards her. He studied her for a moment. She looks real familiar, eh?His wolf asked a bit cockily. He internally rolled his eyes. He yipped at her and turned grabbing his bag. He grabbed the towel and threw it over his back like a saddle. He heard human footsteps and let out a sharp but short growl telling her to shift, change into his flannel and some pants and get on his back like a horse. She followed his orders, since he had alpha blood, and a wolf couldn't resist his commands except his father and other alphas stronger than him. She quickly changed but threw a jacket on to and threw the hood over her face before he could see. She climbed on his back grabbing the bag from his jaws. She patted his side and he took off. She clung to his fur, hiding her face in the softness. When the footsteps faded, he halted and lay down so she could get off easier. He trotted behind a bush with the bag of clothes. He shifted and dressed in a flannel and black jeans. He threw on some old battered Converse. He strode over to the female and sighed,"We're safe now, you can take off my hoodie."He chuckled at the end. She shook her head at his order and he growled lowly. He grabbed the hood of the jacket and pushed it away from her face. But the girl standing before him was not one he'd except to see anytime soon...
