"Get up!"

Not one of my favourite lines to wake up to. As I sleepily opened my eyes I saw the silhouette of my dearest mother through the light shining in from between the curtains on my window.

She was as beautiful as ever. Her brown wavy hair dropped over one shoulder, her golden eyes which seemed to give out enough light to out shine the sun and her smooth skin which for some reason doesn't change.

"Five...more...days.", I mumbled trying to sound as awake as I could, which was not very.

"No! Get up now or you'll be late for school".

She may be an angel but she can also be strict enough to have been a dictators mentor.

As I got up I felt like I was walking the plank of a pirate ship, in space. I sleep walked my way to the bathroom, where I took a bath and brushed my teeth. My clothes had already been laid out on a chair. As I fumbled through my clothes my mother called again.

"Anna, are you done? Your food is going to get cold."

"I'm almost done."

As soon as I finished brushing my golden blonde hair, and applying some makeup I got my bag and headed down stairs. In the kitchen my mother had already set the table and was waiting for me. My dad was reading the news at the table. He was a giant of a man. He has platinum blonde hair almost white, his eyes are a dark blue, so dark that the sea looks brighter and his masculine body covered by rough skin made him look like a pro wrestler. He looked up from the paper.

"Anna, you're up late today.". His voice was very loud, as if he was speaking through a loudspeaker.

"It's because I was up late studying for the quiz in history."

I slid into my chair. I quickly ate the sandwich and drank my glass of OJ in one gulp. As I waved good bye and ran out I saw the bus arrive. I was pretty excited as today was the last week of school.

I got into the bus and the first thing I saw (apart form the bus driver) was my best friend Stacy waving at me. She is roughly the same height as me, her sapphire blue eyes the complete opposite of her scarlet hair. She patted the empty seat next to her.
As soon as I sat down she started bombarding me with questions.

"Did you ask Lee to prom yet?".
"Sadly no, not yet. If he doesn't ask by the end of school today I might end up asking."

As I finished two people sat down in the seats in front of us. They poked there heads from above the seats. It was James and Lee.

They befriended me and Stacy in our freshman year and we've been best friends since. James is the only guy with black hair among us. He has dark brown eyes, the complete opposite of mine. His body well toned from playing football, and his 6'3" height make him seem intimidating to some people. I just thought he looked buff.

Lee was not ripped like James instead he was lean and a bit taller, his hair color is golden brown kinda like the leaves on oak tree during autumn and he has brown eyes which are as bright as amber. He looked as gorgeous as always.

"So you girls excited about the prom?", James said in his cool yet dorky tone. God knows how he pulls it off.

"Yes obviously! And why wouldn't we be? It's our senior prom!"

Lee started rummaging through his backpack.

"I heard that this year their leaving no expense, to make it the best one they had in years."

"Yeah, apparently it's gonna be a prom no one's ever going to forget.", Stated James in his stotic voice.

We were all so excited and thought it was going to be one of our best memories, but none of us realised just how unforgettable it would end up being.
