Chapter One

Livia Sivan's POV

I walked downstairs and sat myself with my family for breakfast.
"What time are they gonna arrive?" I asked whilst taking a bite of my food.
"Before dinner so you better fix up your room after eating." Mom said.
"It's not like we're going to spend the night in my room.." I joked.
"Very smart of you, right." Mom said whilst rolling her eyes. "But Gal will."
"What do you mean Gal will?" I asked whilst putting down my spoon.
"Oh right, I forgot to tell you that." She said whilst chuckling.
"Huh? Tell me what?" I said whilst standing up to get some drink.
"They will stay here at our house until they go back to Italy." She said.
"I don't get it mom, why don't they just stay at a hotel or something." I said.
"Do you have any problem with them staying at our house?" She asked.
"No, but I just don't get it. Our house is not that huge anyway." I said.
"They're not new to us Livia. They have been here before." She explained.
"And we only have one guest room. Will they all fit in there?" I asked.
"That's why Gal will be staying with you in your room." She said.
"Wha-what?" I asked whilst choking out the water that I just drank.
"Gal would be staying with you in your room." She repeated.
"Are you okay mom? You're gonna let Gal stay with me?" I asked.
"Yes, what's your problem? We know Gal and you know him." She said.
"He's your best friend so what's wrong." Dad said whilst shrugging.
"He WAS my best friend." I defended whilst raising a finger.
"Anyway you guys are already talking again, right?" Calve asked.
"We barely talk plus it's through chat, it's different." I said whilst sighing.
"That will help you guys to be close again." Mom said whilst smiling.
"I don't have a choice anyway, cheers mom." I said sarcastically.
I quickly took the last bite from my plate and said, "Done, delicious."
"Clean up your room, okay?" She said and I nodded willingly.
"Wait, why can't he stay in Calve's room?" I asked whilst frowning.
"Calve's room is messy, why is it such a big thing to you?" She asked.
"Privacy mom." I explained whilst rolling my eyes while standing up.
"But, I'm a good daughter and host so it's all good." I said.
"Good to know, now go head upstairs, fix your room." She said.
I smiled at her sarcastically making her let out a chuckle.
I headed upstairs to my room and laid myself down the bed.
My phone started ringing out loud and I reached out to answer it.

Me: What's up?
Lydia: Where are you?
Me: House.
Lydia: I need your help.
Me: Why? What happened?
Lydia: Beau and I broke up.
Me: Come over.
Lydia: I can't.
Me: I'll come over.
Lydia: No, you can't.
Me: Why can't I?
Lydia: Gal's gonna arrive, right?
Me: They'll arrive around dinner time.
Lydia: But-
Me: I have time Lid.

I hung up the phone and quickly went downstairs to tell mom about it.
"Mom, I'm just gonna head off to Lydia's real quick." I shouted.
"Why? Is there something wrong with her?" She asked and I frowned.
"They broke up, she's devastated right now." I explained and she nodded.
"Best of luck. What time will you be back?" She asked whilst frowning.
"I'll be home before they arrive here." I promised and then gave her a kiss.
"Take care sweetie! Tell her it'll be okay." She shouted and I went out.
I quickly ran towards Lydia's house which is just a few blocks away from us.
I walked inside and gave Lydia's mom a kiss, "Good morning Reese."
"Oh darling, Lydia's upstairs. I think she needs you right now." She said.
"Yes I know. Thanks Reese!" I shouted whilst running up the stairs.
I slowly walked inside her room and saw her all curled up in her bed.
"Hey Lydia, I'm here." I said whilst removing her hair from her face.
"There's a bigger problem Livia." She said whilst tears escape her eyes.
"What is it? Oh come on Lid, don't tell me that.. you're-" I stopped.
"I'm pregnant Liv." She blurted out and started crying more.
