It's hard to sleep when you're hungry
When your stomach is bricks
The feeling surpasses
Slowly
And your eyes close
Till it drowns you
And brain stops
Till it reminds you
A plate of wings is just a plate of wings
A pizza is just a pizza
"You could eat till you're numb"
Says the voices
"Nothing eaten during the day"
Says the voices
And your eyes close
But they never really let you sleep
Because, after all
Its hard to sleep when you're hungry
