Crap, I should've stayed at home.

I never thought Lady Kiana's family would be so hyped to see their princess with another man! They were all excited to see me. And they can't stop taking lots and lots of pictures. Kung saan-saan pa kami pina-pwesto ni Lady Kiana para maganda ang shots.

"Ma, Pa, we have to go. Malelate na po kami ni Cryd. And he's not my boyfriend po." Lady Kiana said to make them stop. She told them we were just friends and I'm good enough to offer her a ride to prom.

I sighed in relief. Some of her relatives were already talking about marriage. Imagine the pressure, man. Grabe.

"I'm sorry about that." Lady Kiana smiled apologetically. Ngumiti na lamang din ako at inalalayan siya papasok ng sasakyan. Sa backseat ko siya pinaupo dahil magarbo ang suot niya at hindi kasya sa front seat.

She was wearing a purple ball dress. Her hair was pulled up in a bun. Medyo makapal din ang make-up niya to emphasize her features.

I admit, she's really pretty. With or without cosmetics. Iyon naman talaga ang unang dahilan kung bakit ako nagkacrush sa kanya. Maganda siya. Hindi kataka-takang siya ang mapiling prom queen ngayon.

"Are you sure about this? Hindi ba magagalit si Savanna if she saw us together?" She asked. Dumungaw siya sa gitna para tignan akong mabuti.

"Hindi." Tipid kong sagot. Bakit naman magagalit si Savanna? This is what she wants. She chose to be with Dwight so I could be with Lady Kiana. Very heroic. Tss.

"What made you change your mind? Mukhang desidido ka na kanina na hindi ka pupunta eh."

"My mom." Sagot ko.

"Moms really are charm speakers, 'no?" Aniya, "Mama's boy ka?"

"Kinda. I grew up without my dad 'til I was four. So, I'm really attached to my mom."

"Really? Ako naman si Mommy ang wala dahil nasa Paris siya palagi kasama sina Tita Shanty. Siya ang nag-aalaga noon kay Savanna." Kwento niya, "Sav and I were really close before. Kaso she became very distant through the years. Tahimik na siya noon pero ngayon, halos hindi na talaga siya nagsasalita. Kahit sa family reunions. I tried making a conversation but she'll cut me off immediately. Nakakatampo nga eh. I wonder if I did something wrong..."

She continued talking about Savanna. I want to tell her the truth since she's really confused sa inaasta ni Sav pero ayokong manguna. If Sav doesn't want anyone else from her family to know about her secret then I'll keep my mouth shut.

"I don't actually know that you are friends with her. Ang alam ko lang kasing lalaki na kaibigan niya ay si Dwight since they're neighbors." She said, "Ilang years na kayong magkakilala?"

"Three weeks." Sumulyap ako sa kanya at nakita kong medyo nagulat siya sa sinabi ko. Ngumisi ako at tumingin sa kalsada.

"Talaga?!" She shrieked, "But you two are so close! Alam kong hinahatid-sundo mo siya tapos madalas kayong magkasama. Tapos niyakap ka pa niya sa Galileo! She's too comfortable with you!"

"She likes you! I knew it!" She added happily.

Magsasalita sana ako kaso sumobra iyong pagkadaldal niya. I know I hate noisy girls but this is Lady Kiana. She's my crush. Kahit nakakainis iyong ingay, ayos lang.

"And you like her too! Don't deny it! Dapat hindi ka pupunta ngayon, diba? It's because of her! You're jealous kasi hindi ikaw ang kasama niya!" She said slapping my arm, "I feel you!"
