"Okay, here is where we can study or you know, just talk and hang out. But people mostly go outside to do that." I explained, showing him the study hall. Kurt nodded, looking around, mesmerized.

"So, that's the whole school. Do you have any questions?" I asked. Kurt looked at me.

"Is there a place where you practice acrobatics?" Kurt asked. I tightened my lips. Coming from him, that wouldn't be a weird question, I guess.

"Uhh--no. But if you need space where you can practice your acrobatics, I'll be sure to tell the professor. He likes to make his students feel very at home." I answered. Kurt smiled nervously and nodded.

"It's just very different here than my home." He mentioned quietly. I looked at him, feeling bad that I couldn't really help him right now.

"I'm sorry. If you need someone to talk to I'm always here to listen, Kurt." I assured him. He shouldn't feel alone.

Kurt looked back at me with a half-smile. "Danke schön."

I smiled before looking forward and seeing Jubilee.

"Jubilee!" I called to her. She saw and walked over to me with a grin.

"Hello!" She cheerfully greeted.

"This is Kurt Wagner. He's new, so I'm showing him around the school." I spoke. Jubilee introduced herself as she shook Kurt's hand. All three of us continued walking towards the student lounge.

"So, Kurt, have you been here in America before?" Jubilee asked.

"No, it's first time in America and I am very excited to see your culture!" Kurt exclaimed, looking around in fascination.

"Well, you're not gonna see it here." Scott spoke, who was sitting on the couch in front of us. "The only thing American about this place was that it used to be British."

We stopped in front of Scott.

"This is Scott. He's new here too." Jubilee told Kurt.

"And a pain in the ass. And over there is Jean Grey. My best friend that I told you about." I added, then pointed at Jean who was leaning against the window. She smiled and waved.

"And I'm already up for a prison break." Scott said, getting up. He walked up to me and Kurt.

"What do we say we take blue guy on a little field trip? I'm sure there's a mall out here somewhere." Scott suggested. Kurt looked at him.

"What's a mall?" Kurt asked. I looked at him with wide eyes.

"What did he say?!" I asked Scott in shock. Scott let out a shocked scoff.

"What's a mall?! Alright, now this is a matter of national pride. Civic duty." Scott said.

"Scott." Jean spoke, then gave him a stern look.

"What? You've been couped up here for a long time. And the professor's not even home." Scott continued.

"Jean, he's kinda right." I agreed. "And with the studying I've been doing for midterms, I haven't really had time to go to the mall."

Jean looked at me before giving a sigh.

"I'd like to go the mall. Try it." Kurt spoke. I smiled. He's slowly starting to come out of the shell.

"Alright. Where does he keeps his cars?" Scott asked.

"In the garage downstairs." I answered simply.

Kurt, Jean, Scott and Jubilee looked at me.

"Huh, someone's been going out." Scott teased.

"What?! Those boxes of Twinkies don't magically appear in the cabinet!" I said with a shrug.

"Alright then, let's go!" Scott said. We all started walking, but I noticed Kurt.

"Wait!" I spoke. They all stopped and turned back.

"Kurt, you're not going in that." I said, referring to his attire.

"W-Why not?" Kurt asked, slightly hurt.

"Because it's not...American friendly." I answered truthfully. "People will mock you. Since unfortunately the that's all they know how to do." I looked at the others.

"We'll be right back. Kurt, come on." I said, grabbing Kurt's arm and walking upstairs.

We walked into my room and I grabbed a shopping bag from under my bed.

"I got this outfit for my brother but I accidentally grabbed it in the wrong size. Silly me. So I'm guessing it can fit you." I explained.

"Are you sure?" Kurt asked.

"Of course. Take it." I replied. Kurt took the large paper bag. He looked at me with kind Amber eyes.

"Thank you, Wanda." Kurt said with a gentle smile. I smiled.

"You can go change in the bathroom down the hall. We'll wait for you downstairs." I said. Kurt nodded and walked out. I walked out of the room.

He wanted to know about the culture. Wardrobe is step one.
