It's been a few days since Shurti had left and today I was hanging out with the guys just to make time go by.
She told me not to call or text her as it would mess her up with what she wants.
"So how you holding up?" Shehry asked.
"I'm doing well. Been busy in work," I said.
"Did you get the papers signed?" Hussian asked.
I nodded.
"What were they all about?" He asked.
"Just business stuff," I said.
"It's interesting that she took an interest in all this just to help you out," Shehry said.
"She didn't like Inaya so she wanted to, well hurt her I guess," I said.
"Well the damage is done," he said.
"Definitely is," I said.
"Khair chor, " I said. "Let's talk about something else. I don't want to think about her."
"Gasp!" They both said pretending to gasp.
"I don't want to talk about Inaya," I clarified.
"Oh!" They both said and I laughed at that.
"But seriously just talk about anything that's not work related or my personal life," I said.
Right then just started piling questions about my personal life.
Some friends I have.
I just flipped the switch and started asking them and that made them shut up.
