Jay was walking to his locker. It's on 400 hall next to his best friend's locker. "Jay" Jay's best friend Joy was walking to her locker. "How you doing buddy." "Perfect" Jay responded holding his head high with a big smile. Joy put on her usual frown that she has when she can see right through Jay. She was cute, would be more cute if she didn't have all the acne on her face. She had baby skin all over her body. Today she wore a striped sun dress. "Jay what's wrong?" Jay turned his smile to a frown. "I honestly don't know. I miss having a girlfriend then seeing you and Chris doesn't help. I want a girlfriend. Joy opened her locker. "I don't know how to help there buddy." She closed her locker "I'm sorry Jay." She went to her bus.
Jay decided to walk home today, what's the rush in getting home just to play games and be alone more. He walked the long way around Normanton and Fluorescent. People walked past him. He took the time to study some of the girls. Most wore really short shorts that showed some of their butt. Others were practically naked. I wonder why girls do that if you have a body it's gonna show regardless. I turned onto Fluorescent street. There aren't many people outside here. My house is all the way at the end of the street my mom was outside waiting for me. "Why are you walking home" She had a stern look on her face. Jay took a mental note not to walk home no more. "I gotta tell you something Jay, your uncle wants to take you to a hot air ballon festival. I want you to go." "ok Jay" replied. "where is it" "It's in West pointe" "cool". Jay walked inside to get ready.
I walked beside my uncle and cousin. We found a spot and set up chairs for when ever we get tired of walking. My uncle sat there with my aunt, me and my cousin walked around. "Yo Jay you see her over there." My cousin pointed towards girl walking around by herself. She was beautiful like a sunrise. I got closer to her. "I'm going to talk to her." I told my cousin. He smiled then walked away. I started walking closer to her. As I got closer I saw just how beautiful she is, more beautiful than I could imagine. Her skin was smooth, her hair was curly it looked natural. She wore glasses but I could still see her beautiful brown eyes. "Hey" I said. She turned around and smiled. Her smile was golden. I could watch her smile all day. "Hey" she replied I haven't realized but she was standing next to her sister. Her sister stated at me baffled "Who are you mister." She appeared to be around six or seven. I had to reply with something that would lead to conversation. "I'm a new friend" I told the little girl. The beautiful one said "Oh you are, well what's your name friend." "Jay" I smiled and she smiled back."what's your name beautiful." I added. "Mariah" "What a beautiful name" "Thanks, your pretty cute Jay." She moved in closer. I was honestly nervous. "So I guess u wouldn't mind giving me your number than Mariah" "Sure" I pulled out my phone and he told me her number. My uncle sent me a text telling me I have to go. "I'll text you tomorrow" I walked away happy I got her number.
