Hi my name is Derek and this is a story about my life. How it change when the prince came to the village.
My day started with the usual wake up call from my mom telling me to get up before breakfast got cold. As I got up and got changed. Something red caught my eye it was outside. I moved closer to my window and looked out. We didn't live in the village,but about a half mile from it. As I looked out my window I notice red flags with a snake on it that meant the fourth prince was coming to the village. How I knew it was the fourth prince is because of the serpent on the flag each brother had a different animal on there flag. There were twelve brother that meant twelve red flags each with a different animal. Red was the kingdoms color. My mom yell at me again telling me breakfast was getting cold. I rushed down stairs and set down at the table and told my mom. What I saw out my window as I ate my breakfast.She looked worried and I knew why she was worried that my secret would get out and I would be taken away.
