As I finished placing the last curl in my long blonde hair, I made my way to my lavish closet to pick out my outfit for my first day of public highschool.

First day of public highschool.

Never have I ever thought this day would actually arrive. The day where I get to leave the title of Hollywood's Sweetheart behind and for once be a normal teenage girl. Trust me, I wouldn't give up the life of singing and acting for the world, but with that welcomes a whole different life. A life of no freedom, and always having bodyguards surrounding every inch of your personal space. Never knowing who was Evelyn Gold's friend, or who was Hollywood's Sweetheart's friend.

I pulled on my white, strapless floral dress, and my pastel pink heels. I grabbed my lilac backpack with my name, Evelyn, engraved at the top of it.

With one last breath, I shut my bedroom door, and headed downstairs. At the door, my two main guards were already waiting for me.

"Goodmorning John, Richard," I greeted with a smile.

"Goodmorning Miss Evelyn," Richard responded.

"How many times do I have to tell you two to just call me Evelyn?" I groaned.

"And how many times do we have to tell you it is a rule set by your parents," John shot back.

I playfully shook my head at both of them as I headed to the kitchen.

There, I was greeted by Ashley, the cook.

"Hello there Evelyn," she greeted. "Your lunch is on the table."

"Thank you!" I shouted, as I left the kitchen, to return to John and Richard.

"Are you ready to leave, Miss Evelyn?" John asked.

"As ready as I will ever be," I answered.

I had a feeling that no matter how ready I was, it was impossible to be fully prepared.

"Then let's be on our way," Richard said.

Maybe walking up to a school building with two stereotypical dressed bodyguards maybe wasn't the best choice.

No, it definitely wasn't the best idea. Even though nobody dared to approach me, I could sense all their eyes on me, and hear the faint sound of their whispers. They weren't afraid of me, they were afraid of John and Richard.

The first thing I noticed about the school was its size. It was huge. The hallways seemed to go on forever, and each one seemed to have an intersection, leading to more never ending hallways. Not knowing where the office is, I turned to the first girl I saw and asked her.

"Hi, I'm Evelyn," I first said.

"Yeah, I know, "she rushed out. "I mean, n-not to sound rude, but everyone knows who you is. I mean who you are."

Not knowing how to respond, I avoided the statement entirely. "Do you know where the main office is?" I asked.

Her eyes widen. "Uhm, yes! Yes I can show you if you would like."

"That would be great, thank you."

I looked back at Richard and John and they just shook their heads and gave a faint smile.

The girl led us down a series of hallways, until we finally arrived at the office. After saying goodbye, she left to go to whatever class she had first. I already knew, I wouldn't be able to find my way back to the entrance.
