The Story of Phire

The Meeting

~Sapphire's POV~
Once the clock stroke midnight I knew it was time. Today I was going to investagate the forest. There was some strange magic energy coming from there and I needed to know what it was coming from. But the weird thing is it only started accuring at midnight. I had to hurry before it was too late. I got up and out of my house and I walked to the forest with out being noticed by the guards of the village. Luckily they were taking a snooze. I stepped into the forest and started looking around awhile going deeper and deeper within the forest. I was soon in the middle of the forest. It was beatiful. There were trees all around with a beautiful lake in the middle of all it. It was shinning with the light of the moon. Maybe this was it. All of a sudden I heard a shake within a bush. I reached for my sword but it wasn't there.....I must of have forgotten it at my house! I started backing up and as I did so I stepped on a tree branch and as it snapped a monster came out. To what it seemed like it was a creature from hell with 3 heads and a dog body. To what my studies showed me I was sure it was a Cerberus. I had magic but I guess I was low on energy. I couldn't fight this thing which I thought wouldn't be a problem until it came charging at me. I closed my eyes as I was about to be Attacked up soon I saw a light. A portal had opened and a boy had come out. He took down the Cerberus and sent it back in a portal then rushed over to me. What was even happening......

~Phoenix's POV~
As I opened the portal and stepped through escaping from my old home I saw a girl and a monster before my eyes. My first instinct was to take down the monster and send it back to hell where it belonged so that's what I did. When I finally got a glimpse of the girl I emmieditly started blushing. I walked over to her to see if she was okay and offered her my hand and helped her up.
"Hey you okay?" I asked her blushing a bit. I wanted to make sure she wasn't hurt because that's the last thing I wanted. "Yes I'm fine thank you very much" she said back to me as she took my hand and stood up. At that moment my face was basically blushing as red as a tomato. "Are you okay? Your face is really red..." She said to me as she looked over to me. "Oh yea I'm fine...the names Phoenix it's nice to meet you" I said as my face turned down the redness a bit and I greeted her. "Oh it's nice to meet you Phoenix my names Sapphire! Um do you have a place to stay you kinda just jumped out of a portal and well yea....." She said smiling at me. "Oh well I do kinda need a place to stay just for the night of course....." I said back to Sapphire trying to smile but it was a bit embaresing that I was asking for a place to stay. "Oh you can stay with me and my friend! She won't mind she is kinda like my caretaker and I'm sure she wouldn't mind if someone else came along! She loves to help people. Well come on!" Sapphire said as she grabbed my hand and started running dragging me with her. This was going to be an exciting night.
