Openheart sighed and grudgingly trotted on, Acid Storm silent beside him. He glanced at her once and kept going, happy that she was at least not annoying. When they reached a new door, she helped him push against it and when it opened, they found a room with giant windows and lots of controls. Openheart moved to the desk and looked out the window, but all he saw was black. Then he remembered Fox’s sad look from earlier.
“So what did you do to make Fox look so sad?” He asked darkly, not looking at her. Acid Storm looked up from some controls and looked at him before tapping her hoof on the floor.
“I told her… Friends only hurt you in the end, but I didn’t think not being her friend would bother her so much. I apologized.” She noticed the tension flaming over Openheart and he turned to her, a dark look on his face.
“You have got to be kidding me; after all she’s done for you? She is too kind hearted like Fluttershy; you can’t just act coldly to her.” He snaps. Acid idly looks around, her hoof pressing against the light switch. When she looks up, her eyes widen, looking past Openheart, out the window.
“What are you looking at?” Openheart snaps, turning and freezing suddenly. “Oh my gods…”
