Chapter 1

I woke up in the morning with my alarm clock blaring, almost breaking my ear drums. Ughh that was my third alarm this morning, I thought as I tried to get more sleep. Yes, I'm one of those people who set multiple alarm clocks, because I'm as lazy as it gets.

" Wake up honey or else you'll be late'', my mom yelled down stairs, " the bus will be here in 15." " Ok mom", I screamed at the top of my lungs as I opened my phone and turned off my alarm.

I woke up and got dressed with a floral tank top, a white cardigan, and light blue jeans. Topped off with with converses. I curled my hair into loose curls, and brushed my teeth. I put on some make up, and grabbed my phone and backpack, as I hurried downstairs.

" Here honey take your toast ", my dad said carelessly as he read his newspaper. I took the toast and ran outside, just in time for the bus. " Cadence! Over here!", Jasmine shouted as she waved her hand in the air. Jasmine or Jas is my best friend, we've known each other since 5th grade and have been best friends ever since.

" I called you this morning why did u answer?", said Collette.

" I'm sorry i woke up late today. I almost missed the bus."

Collette is my other best friend, we knew each other in chorus, and we share so many secrets during that time, that brought us closer together.

" Such a clutz", she muttered under her breath as i shanked her playfully with my pen.

The school bus stopped and we all piled out of the yellow bus yelling and all thinking we can fit through the exit all at once. Finally i got out of the bus, relieved that it was all over.

We walked to the hallway as i left collie and jas as i walked to my locker. Since the beginning of the year we have decided that in the mornings we all meet in the courtyard. We have 30 minutes before school starts. As piled my books into my locker i saw Bryce. His locker was right next to mine. I have known Bruce since 4th grade and we have been kinda "friends" of u want to call it that.

The situation between me and Bryce is complicated.Bryce is what u call a fuckboy aka a player. He is popular but he has no sense of logic. We talked more this year than any other, and i had always a somewhat a crush in him. He teases me and my friends a lot.

" what the hell", i yelled as he purposely stepped on my foot.

" Sorry eeeeeee"

In return of his gesture i lifted my foot and stepped on his nike janoskis.

" what was that for u dumbass"

"Oopsy daisy", i teased as i stuck my tongue out at him, as i walked away to the courtyard.

I could hear footsteps behind me as i looked back, I saw Bryce and Daniel walking behind me.

Daniel is Bryce's best friend. And I know one of his secrets, which is that he secretly has a crush on collette. Daniel one of the nicest boys that i know. And he is my friend, no quotation marks needed.

I guess what you can say is that all 5 of us is kinda a group of friends.

I waved to Daniel as he waved back to me and walked to the courtyard. Me, Jasmine, and Collette can literally talk about anything. Time seemed to fly and soon enough the bell rang. I have most of my classes with Jasmine except for Chorus, Science, and S.S. And I only have chorus and PE with collie. Unexpectedly i have all my classes with Bryce.
