Chapter 7

My mom got a fuzzy blanket, robe, and slippers. My dad got a tool kit. My sisters also had brought a gift together and they got a $10 bath & body works gift card and a bunch of different lotions and perfumes. Cody also brought a present and got a dartboard.

At about 11:30 we headed back to our house and we got I to bed almost immediately since we were so tired.

* Jon's POV *

I had set a vibrating alarm on my phone so I could wake up and get my surprise for Sophie ready before she woke up.

I got up at 6:30 and called up one of my friends who were helping with the surprise and we had it all settled that the present would arrive at 9:45.

I can't wait to give Sophie the present, she's talked about wanting one a couple times and I got her one.

* Sophie's POV *

I woke up at 7:45 and noticed that Jon was already up. I walked out to the kitchen and found Jon, my mom, my dad, Erin, Cody, and Natalie already up.

We decided we would wake Maddie and Skylar up at 8 if they weren't up.

At 8 we made breakfast which consisted of eggs and cinnamon rolls.

After we ate we went into the living room and gave all of Natalie's presents to Erin and Cody. Jon and I got her a present together and gave her two onsies and a new toy.

Then the children opened their presents from my parents. I got a new pair of white converse, a pair of jeans, two sweaters, a jacket, and a new book from my parents alone.

We then decided my parents would open their presents from us. I got them both Blackhawk tickets and I got my mom a new series of books from her favorite author and I got my dad a new watch.

Then we opened the presents from each other. I got a Blackhawks phone case and a camera memory card from Erin, Cody, and Natalie. Maddie and Skylar got me a volleyball, a pair of athletic shorts, and a new wallet. Jon gave me a picture frame with a picture of us in it, a purse, and a signed copy of my favorite authors new book. I had given everyone a ticket to a Blackhawks game and something else that went with their personality.

At 9:45 the doorbell rang and my family all looked around confused but Jon got up and said it was for him.

He walked outside into the freezing cold and talked to whoever was out there. After a minute he came back in and walked over to me.

I have a surprise for you, he whispered in my ear.

Everyone, I also have a surprise for you, he said and then walked back over to the door with us following.

He opened the door and Crow, Hjalmarsson, and his wife Elina where all standing out there, holding a big box.

Oh my god guys, what are you doing here? I asked them letting them in and hugging all of them.

Well we couldn't go home so we decided we would come with Jonny to see you and help with his surprise, Crow said.

Alright its time for this gift before something happens to it, jon said taking the box from Niklas. He handed it to me and told me to sit down to open it.

I sat down and undid the ribbon on the top of the box. I opened the box and gasped, inside was a baby Siberian husky with black and white fur and blue eyes.

Thank you so much Jonathan! I love it! I said.

I picked the pup up and my sisters awwed when they saw it. I held it in my hands, got up, and went and hugged Jonathan.
