I woke up the next morning to the sound of Jess snoring. She's a loud snorer.
It was Saturday and Elijah planned on treating us both out. He wanted everything to be perfect with us. Always happy, always having good times, but to be honest, what couples perfect? I appreciated the fact that he wants to make me happy, but sometimes he tries too hard and I feel bad for him pushing himself. He's a hard worker, that's one reason why I love him.
I got dressed and waited for him. Elijah picked me up and we headed out. We decided to go to Panera for breakfast, then we went the park to walk around. He took me to the movies then we went home to just relax & cuddle. He left and told me we were going somewhere special tonight for dinner.
"I'll be back, just wear something really nice.", he winked and kissed me on the cheek goodbye.
I was so confused, there was no special holiday or occasion. I just decided to go with it.
I got cleaned up and wore a nice, silk red dress, black 4 inch heels, gold jewelry, a leather jacket, and light makeup. I then put my hair into a nice, elegant bun.

I cooked some food for Jess's dinner because she wasn't home from work yet. Then I waited for Elijah's text.
Elijah: I'm outside the apartment😘
Me: Okay, coming down😉
I ran downstairs and came to see Elijah in a nice tux. He looked so handsome. He was holding a bouquet of black and white roses.
"Oh my god, Elijah, they are beautiful."
"Just like you.."
I started to blush.
Elijah took a good look at me.
"Too much?", replied as he finally snapped out of it.
"NO, no, I mean...its just....wow...you look.....beautiful"
I started to blush even more.
"Come on, let's go to our surprise destination", he laughed.
I laughed and we drove off. I didn't know where we were going. I then recognized the destination. There was a new restaurant that was going to open up today. I would always tell Elijah how I wanted tot try it when it opens, although I knew he wouldn't because it was a very expensive restaurant.
"Elijah....you are joking right?"
"Nope, I knew you always wanted to go here, so I made that come true.", he smiled as he held my hand.
"Oh, Elijah, this is amazing, you really didn't have to"
"No, it was my choice, so...lets eat!"
I laughed and he walked me inside. He reserved a table and the waitress led us to our table. Omg it's humongous in here. I was so excited & hungry, but then I lost my appetite....
Shocked.........I saw him.
The one I'd never thought I'd see again. The one who I wondered about.
Grayson.
Although, something was different. He was not alone, I could see his happiness as he kissed the girl on the lips. He was with a girl, only the two of them, no clue who, but he seemed happy.
I didn't want him to see me, so I looked away.
Grayson's pov
I was so full, but I knew I had to save room for desert. My girlfriend Liana kissed me on the lips, I smiled.
"There was something on your mouth, so I cleaned it off for you", she chuckled.
"You're funny", I said as I kissed her. She smiled.
I looked around for the waiter since we were going to order desert.
I looked only to find her. There's no way. I thought I was dreaming. I didn't think I would ever see her again. Wow. She looked different, but a really good different. She was still beautiful. I can't believe she's here.
I wanted to say hi I wondered if she still remembered me She looked even more beautiful from when I left her I couldn't take my eyes off her But wait, who's that? The man Did she forget about me? Well I can't blame her, I forgot about her too for a bit I wanted to meet her again But I'm afraid of what her reaction will be..
