Chapter 14

(Daniel's P.O.V)

"So where are we wanting to go?" Jane asks' me.

"Well that's a surprise." I say.

"Oh, goody. Just so you know, I don't do surprises well."

"I can tell, you're fidgeting."

Jane laughs a beautiful laugh, and I can't help but smile and laugh with her. I turn on the radio and We Went by Randy Houser turns on. I see her start to dance in her seat.

I start to think about when we wrote each other when I was deployed. I don't think my family has any idea how glad I am to be home. The second I saw that photo of Jane, I was captivated.

I think I am already falling for her, but how? How can I fall in love with a woman I know hardly anything about? I guess there's and adventure I am willing to look forward to. I look at her and instantly know, Jane is my lifesaver. She is the one thing that kept me going over there, she is the reason I have came home, despite my injury.
