(1.) the charcoal skies are bleeding
ashes and the stars are bursting open;dust rests on the surface of her cheeks
as she becomes one with destruction;the skies are cracking open for the world to see.
(2.) crimson red runs along her open chest
dripping from the gaping wounds;wine stains on your leather sofa
your collar reeks of infidelity;the scent of heartbreak still lingers in the air.
(3.) butterflies erupting from the bottom of her stomach
she bleeds lava through her scorching veins;their wings are scratching at her throat
her mouth a graveyard of hope deceased;the consequences of her actions clog her mind with unfiltered emotions.
(4.) thunder erupts in the dead of the night
cackles loudly at her attempts at sleeping;sending showers of rain through her window
gently tapping and piercing every painted bruise;oil on canvas, skin on skin, he paints a masterpiece of black and blue.
(5). fight fire with fire, she was told
till he chokes on your ashes;till the fire is put out by your tears
and the ships inside you drownin the oceans flowing through your veins.
