She was all he could think about.
He hadn't seen her since the gathering. He had once heard that it only took a fifth of a second to fall in love, and now he believed it to be true. As soon as he saw her, he felt something.
She was the only one who was nice to him. She insisted that he stayed, and he did.
Now he wished that he had just left. He could never see her again.
Sometimes, when he was feeling lonely, he would send one of the souls to watch her. As the soul reported back what they saw, it only made him want her more. She was the purest person he had ever met. She was as beautiful as the life she could create.
He took the lives she created and destroyed them. It was almost as if he existed to be hated by her.
One day, he went too far.
He was sick of being lonely without her. He sent a group of souls with strict rules and sat back in his firey throne with a smug look while he waited. He had yet to realise the dangers of what he had done.
She arrived calmly. She didn't create a fuss. She was pushed in the chair opposite him by the group of souls and she did not move. He thanked the group and they took that as their cue to leave.
Only then did she speak.
"I am sure there were much politer ways to invite me here."
He nodded slowly.
"I am going to assume what you have to say is very important and therefore I shall listen." she smiled at him.
He hesitated and his smile dropped. Where should he begin? It was only then he realised the problems he could possibly cause.
"Well, first off I'd like to thank you for cooperating. I am very glad your presence did not require serpents."
She nodded. "I am going to assume what you have to say is very important and therefore I shall listen," she repeated.
And so, after a moment of silence, he began to explain everything.

Based off the prompt Hades and Persephone that can be found on the tumblr blog au-ideas.

--------------

I wrote this in less than ten minutes and I didn't go through and edit it so it is possibly very bad.
Also I'm going to put songs at the beginning as like a song of the day. They have literally nothing to do with the actual story.
