"Mom I'm cold !" I screamed half asleep wanting her to turn the heat on. Nothing but silence in response.. "Mom !" I shouted again but no response. I got up and realized what was wrong. I wasn't home and I wasn't at a friends house. Where was I ? I was in a basement with nothing but a air mattress. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and someone came in.
"Shh , you'll wake him up" the person said sounding a little worried.
"Who are you and where am I?" I could tell by the voice that it was indeed a male.
"I can't tell you anything until I talk it over with my dad, but I can definitely tell you how you got here." I listened in on what he was telling me when I started to remember what happened. I was kidnapped by a taxi driver...
* Two Days Before*
"Hurry up Kat!" Alonna screamed as Katrina ran back into her house because she had forgotten her phone.
"She's so forgetful but that isn't anything new" Lizzeth said stating the facts. This was our regular routine before school. Katrina was the last to get picked up and was never ready. Alonna was the only one with a license and she picked us all up for school.
"Since we're waiting can we go get some McDonald's then come back" Miracle asked. She sure does love her some food but has like the best body ever.
"You always want McDonald's" I said jokingly, "How about we stop by my house and get something. You know mom always makes breakfast." I say mom because we all call her that. My house is known as the "squad house" and my mom is the "squad mom".
"Never mind here comes Kat" said a now sad Miracle. When we got to school the bell had just rang but we decided to be late as usual.
"So guys are we going to Lorenzo's party this weekend ?" Alonna asked. Since she knew a lot of people she always knew about parties.
"I planned on hanging with Miguel this weekend , you know how strict my mom is so this is rare" said Lizzeth. Miracle had homework as always so Katrina & I were the only ones going with her. The second bell rang informing us that we were now officially late. We all went our separate ways since none of us had our first hour together. Finally lunch came and thankfully we all had lunch together.
"Hey Babe" Brian said to Miracle as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Keep trying" Miracle said taking his arm off her. Brian was our guy friend who always flirted with Miracle. We had all became friends with him in 8th grade and we protected him with our lives like older sisters.
"So who's all going to Lorenzo's party ?" Brian asked us.
"Just Alonna , Mady & I" Kat stated. Kat and Brian were best friends but we all knew she kind of liked him.
"OMGAWD !" I exciting yelled as I pulled out my phone , "BTS just made a new MV!". I was obsessed with KPop especially Jimin who was a member of BTS. All of a sudden the bell rang ruining my excitement. The rest of the day was a blur. I hated the rest of my classes because they were so boring. Alonna dropped all of us back home and as soon as I walk in...
"Mady let Maggie out !" My mom was already yelling at me. I let the dog out then went up to my room. I switched out of school clothes and put on sweats and a T-Shirt. I went to the bathroom took out my contacts and put my glasses on. My curls had fallen out from the morning so I put my hair in a messy bun. I went back downstairs , let Maggie in then grabbed some Oreos and went back upstairs. The rest of my day consisted of Oreos and social media. I finally became tired around 11:00. I plugged my phone in, put my glasses on my table and went to bed.
