Laying in my bed after that experience was surreal, i never knew a person could feel such power from within themselves.
Two drops of sweat rolled off my forehead onto my cupids bow, its saltiness was tingling and satisfying.

The room was begining to get darker and my hands were still between my legs, trembling, my body ached and a cool bath called my name. I slowly swing my legs off the bed onto the soft rug and began to walk into the bathroom. The air was crisp and cool, almost like a silk blanket hovering over me it was soothing to the skin and my goose pump shivered in agreement.

Laying in the bath was such a good idea, the best I've had in ages. Just me, the water, and soft playing music in the background. *ting* *ting* chimed from my phone ripping through the peace I had before, displaying a message on the screen reading, "Come open the door please, I need to talk to you." Without hesitating I get up from my pool of comfort throw on a pair of panties and a t-shirt paired with a robe and flew down the stairs.

Wrapping around the stairs I see his silhouette outlined by the light through the glass windows, and he gives me a half heartfelt smiled. I turned the lock and opened the door which was followed by a tight hug and a gust of wind.

"I never knew him to be so....so... emotional"

"But I like this version of him a lot more that his original shy personality."

Looking down to me I could see his eyes were red and puffy; he'd been crying.

"Carmen", he said almost breathless.

I looked at him, really looking at him, holding his large hands tightly inside my smaller ones.
"Yes?", i managed to say, "what is it?"

"I'm having the worse night possible and I need a friend....I need you"

I stepped back in shock trying to register what he just said. "He needs....me?" Why would he need me? Sure we've been friends since elementary school but we haven't talked in a long time. "But that shouldn't matter", I thought. "When a friend needs help...help them no matter what..."
As I was thinking he managed to walk back behind the threshold onto the porch as to give off the impression to be invited in properly.

"He's such a dummy", I thought smiling in my mind.

As I began to invite him in a crack of lightening lit up the sky in a twisting dance and thunder rattled through in rhythmic time.
"Come in please before you get wet, then I'm going to have to make you feel better." I said with a wink.

He looked up with a smirk, God that fucking smirk, and walked inside and closed the door, leaving just him, me, and a lot of space.
