"You should know us better than that already Marco." My other friend added in, sat beside Marcel. "With me and Marcel if there's anything with chicken and potatoes, we'll get it."
"Oh you two are such idiots." I laughed.
"I second that completely." Sascha joined in, and once looking at him I noticed a smirk right the way across his face. I must admit I was shocked to see that his mood had changed ever so quickly, but by no means was I going to comment. "I think I'll get the fish and chips to be honest, I need the calories after the stressful experience I went though." He uttered, and so I watched him place his menu down, before turning his attention to me. "What about you?"
"Me?" I questioned, to which he hummed. "Well I'll probably get the pasta with the cheese and basil sauce." I received a roll of the eyes from both Robin and Marcel at that, causing for me to look at them confused. My eyebrows knotted up in a furrow. "What was that for eh?"
"Even when we don't come here you get the same thing, it's always pasta with a cheese and basil sauce." Marcel smirked, while I shook my head in amusement at him. But before I then was able to say something back to him the waiter came over to us to take our orders, with a smile across his lips. And so Marcel proceeded to tell him our food orders, as well as drinks.
"Ok great sir, your orders will be over with you shortly." He smiled, before disappearing off into the kitchen, as soon as we had thanked him. And in that moment, Sascha spoke again.
"So Marco..." He started with. "Are you going to tell me the reason we're all here then?"
I shook my head and laughed, looking at him. "You don't hold back, do you?"
"Hey, don't start Marco." Marcel pointed at me. "Speak nicely to your agent."
"You idiot." Laughing at him I turned my attention back to Sascha again. "Well the truth is, I actually had a thought." I looked at him, as he looked intrigued. "It's quite a big thing too."
"Wow wait..." Robin laughed. "You Marco...you actually thought."
My immediate reaction to Robin's words was kick him underneath the table, all with such a death glare. "Shut up." Pointing at him I laughed, before going on. "Well I had the thought that maybe I could open up an app, to share all my personal things with my fans. It will be another way for them to get to know me, other than looking on my social media of course."
"Hmm..." Sascha started, stroking his chin. "But if they can see all these different aspects of your life on social media, then what makes you think they'd want to download this app?" In a way I could see where he was coming from. "I like this idea Marco, but I do need to know."
"I can understand why you're saying that Sascha, of course I can." I smiled at him, giving him a nod of the head. "But the thing is it will be completely different in compare to all my social media because I thought we can have a certain area of the app about my life, giving the fans a chance to know more about me than what they already do." Sascha nodded. "There could be a chance for the fans to win competitions and stuff like that. But I don't where to stand."
Looking at Sascha as I spoke I watched him nod his head, with a smile across his face. But all before he could come out and speak, Marcel stopped him in doing so. "Personally I think it's a really good idea. I mean just look at Marco's monkey franchise, and how much recognition that's got. It wouldn't be like he's starting from the beginning with it all, he has experience."
"And the Pursuit label." Robin added, perking up. "Marco's helped massively with that, and I know it wouldn't have been as successful as it has been so far if it wasn't for him." I smiled.
It really meant the world to me that Marcel and Robin were sticking up for me on this, all to try and make a big dream of mine come true. This proves to me the sort of friends they are.
"Right, look, listen to me Marco ok?" Sascha started, taking a quick sip of his drink which he had in front of him. "It isn't that I don't think you'll be able to do this, and that most of your fans wouldn't download the app, but in the long run do you really think it will be a success?"
Straight away and without a single doubt in my mind, I nodded my head. "I do, I really do if I am completely honest. Just look at Mario and his app, how well that's doing. That where I got this idea from. I've seen first-hand how successful his app has become, and I want that."
Before Sascha could get another word in he was briefly stopped in doing so as the waiter in that second came over and gave us our food and drinks, while we all thanked him, before at long last Sascha went on. "Ok Marco, ok, I can see where you're coming from with this all. I really can." He nodded, while we all started to eat our food. "So here's what I'll do, I'll get hold of a digital engineer I know who works in Denmark, Frederiksen. This wouldn't be the first time they've worked with someone famous so it won't be a hit and miss, we'll just see where it goes from there if that's ok with you?" And of course, I was completely fine with it.
"Oh yes, completely, that sounds amazing to me." I smiled, nodding my head and feeling oh so excited about this all. My own app, something to be proud of, who would not want that?
"We'll get Frederiksen on board and see what they can offer, they can draft up the plan you have for your app and go from there to set up." All I continued to do was nod my head, with a big smile across my face. I was happy that this was finally happen, the truth is I didn't ever expect it to. Of course I know Sascha always has my back but I didn't expect it to happen.
"I guess there's only more thing we can do then." I shrugged, picking up my glass of drink on the table here. All the others around me evidently knowing how happy I had become due to this news, as they all smiled and waited for me to go on. "This deserves a toast, you think?"
"Oh completely, it completely deserves a toast." Marcel smiled.
And with that I watched all the three guys around me pick up their drinks and holds them up in the centre of the table. "To my new app." And with that the three of us all chanted that in that moment, with smiles across our lips, and glasses being tilted together.
This is really happening, and I couldn't be more excited.
