Ava POV
I entered the building as I lifted my dress off the ground. I got seated next to a group of men who also ran several companies but it was hard being a female in this type of industry.
"You must be Ava Johnson?" A man said shaking my hand
"Yes I am,and you must be Louis Cartier,pleases to meet you" i smiled,he took my arm as we walked and talked
"You're very young to be a C.E.O,very impressive" he smiled
"Thank you,i must say im very astonished by your green ruby necklaces collection" I said
"Well thank you,oh Sir Beckham you made it" Louis stopped as a tall tattooed man in a noir tux
"Hello Louis,who is this beauty?" Sir Beckham said looking at me
"Ava,Ava Carter Johnson" I introduced myself
"Ava this is-"
"King Odell Beckham Jr" he introduced himself as i stood in shock
"King?" I raised an eyebrow
"Yes King of Genivia" he smiled as he kissed my hand,i noticed the several rubies that sat on each of his fingers
"May i steal this,beautiful woman for a bit Louis?" He asked
"Of course your Highness" Louis smiled as he walked away
"So please tell me about yourself" he said handing out his arm to me as i wrapped mine around his
"Well,im 26 years old, im the C.E.O of Tiffany's,i was born in Dubai actually,my mother was on vacation as she was pregnant with me and i came unexpectedly, i attended Harvard university but i dropped out after my brother died....umm,but i managed to get through it and then i was really good friends with the creator of Tiffany's and when he retired he put me in charge" i smiled
"Wow,very intriguing,listen, i don't have alot of time left in America i came because im on a mission" he said that caught my attention
"A mission?" I asked
"Yes to find a Queen" he said
"A Queen you say,the only queen we have here is Beyonce but shes married" i joked
"As wonderful as Beyonce is,i what someone who's not married" he smiled
"Your Highness,i don't know how you do it in Genivia but you can't just propose to any woman you see" i looked into his dark brown eyes
"I don't know how this love thing works,in Genivia you can pick who ever you please even if you do or don't know them" he shrugged
"That doesn't work here" i laughed lightly
"Then how does it work?" He asked confused
"You have to go on dates,for about 4 months,then you start dating a person like boyfriend and girlfriend for about 1 year then you propose with a ring,then marriage"i stretched out
"Sounds like alot of work" he scratch his hand
"But its worth it when you find the one you love" i smirked
"Your an amazing person,Ms.Johnson" he smiled
"Thank you,your Highness" i blushed
