"Today is going to be great." Lilian said to her self with joy and confidence. She put on her black polished school shoes grabbed her bag and raced out the door. "Bye mum!!" she yelled from outside the house. Outside was a grey full wheel drive ready to pick her up and take her to school. Shiny and sleek, yet strong and tough. It was her cousin. They always had seen each other as friends more than family. His name was Zach, He had graduated the year before and and had a part time job as a janitor. "Hey lil." he said with his usual calm but joyful voice. It was time to leave for school. They went down roads jammed full of all different cars, quite small streets, twisted long highways and so on. It took them an hour to get there so they always left at 7:00 so they would get there on the bell. They talked about school and how stressful it was, jobs and what they would be like. It was a great time for them. Sometimes the trip to school could be dangerous, with cars going the wrong direction, sharp turns. But they always made it safely. Not once had they had a serious accident. The scenery of nature whizzed by the speed that they were going at. They were more than half way there now, they were driving on the road when they heard horns honk and a huge screech coming up from behind them.
BANG. A black powerful, speeding Ute had hit the side of the car and they were spinning around on the high way. there was no way to stop them, one spin by another they came closer to a huge 20 foot ditch. They managed to stop at the very edge. "What the hell!?" Lilian said in a fearful voice. They were on a litural cliff hanger. One more move and there death would be sealed. Zach was sitting there in sheer shock of what had just happened. Unable to figure out what to do. He accidentally steped on the accelortor as he was putting his foot down and they hurdeled into the ditch. SMASH. Everything went black for the 2 of them.
In less then 30 minutes a helicopter and ambulance had come collect them and take to the hospital. Where there fate would be decided, dead or alive.
