"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
My alarm goes off. "ugh. another day of school" I think. I hit the stop button and after a few minutes I manage to drag myself out of bed. School used to be fun. I got to see Adrien every single day. But then "little miss flirty Lila" came. Everyone loves her. Including Alya! I wouldn't be surprised to find Adrien does too.
"Rise and shine!"
A little ladybug thing pops in my face, Its my kwami, Tikki. I ignore her as I go downstairs to eat my breakfast of a toasted croissant.
"Good morning dear!"
My Mum exclaims as I come downstairs.
"Hello Mum!" I say as chirpy as I can.
After I eat, I get ready for school.
"Marinette are you OK?" Tikki questions, her voice tinkling in my ear like a bell.
"I'll never be OK as long as Volpina *ahem* Lila is at my school." Tikki gives me a sympathetic look.
"C'mon Marinette! Its not that bad!" She obviously has no idea.
I open my purse and Tikki flies in. I quickly grab my bag, run downstairs and go outside. Luckily school is just across the road so I dash across the road just as the bell rings. I go upstairs , my footsteps pounding in my ear and I sigh as I get into class on time. Only JUST. Luckily Miss Bustier is writing on the board.
I dash into my seat as quickly and as quietly as I can, only to find a certain someone in my seat. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I say as sweetly as I can. Lila stares back at me.
"Oh that's Ok... Marinette is it....?"
I take a deep breath to stop myself from screaming at that girl.
"Um I don't know if you know but that's actually my seat." Lila stare at me like I am crazy. "Actually Alya told me that no one sat here." I grit my teeth.
" Is this true Alya?" She looks up at me from her phone.
"Huh?" I try not to roll my eyes at her.
"Is it true that you told Lila that no one sat here?" Her face turns red and her nose twitches like it does when she's lying.
"N-no! I never said that!" I roll my eyes and grit my teeth
"Puh-lease I know when your lying Alya! I'm your best friend!" My eyes start to tear up. "Marinette I'm sorry! I just needed to get info for the lad-"
But before I let her finish I storm out of the classroom.
I've had enough.
