Escaping love but didn’t get anywhere
I had you then but now I fell to nowhere;
I did leave but I couldn’t have gone too far,
You are here but the distance is still ajar.
I’ve got dragged and I was left alone in time- frozen
But that’s the grief I had chosen;
I’ve been acting fake, I’ve been mean
But the heartless bitch was just a scene.
I always cared more than anyone ever could
But showed less, less than anyone ever would;
But that’s when I had to fall back
Fall back harder from where I already was.
You stole my heart and I’ve got to confess
I did love but only in silent whispers;
You were strong because you didn’t fear to say- I love her
I ran from it, and I ran to end up here again
Loved and lost, I cried in the rain.
Everybody had their say about - why she fell
I knew better, because the real reason is-
She loved but could never tell.
