Finally the first day of college is here. I'm excited but out of all I am terrified and I was told that it is normal to feel thins way but that doesn't change anything. I drive in a van with all of my friends. The main ones are Brett, my boyfriend, Alex, my best friend. Then there is DJ my best guy friend there ever will be and then Noah and Troy and Audrey and Sydney. There is a lot of us but we are a huge family who all love each other. We finally get there and we all sign in. I'm put in room 315 not knowing who is my roommate and I'm terrified about that. I was caught up talking to Alex when Brett and all the guys walk up.
"Hey babe I'm in room 120, so I'm in the other building. I got to go," Brett said.
"Oh my room is 121 can I just walk with you?" Alex asked.
"Sure," he replied.
"Bye," I replied.
All the other guys went to their rooms and after a while I started to head to my room.
I have been thinking that something suspicious is going on with Brett but I'm not certain and if he isn't I don't want to call him out on it. When I walk into my room there is a guy with a towel around his waist. He turns around and I notice it is DJ.
"Oh thank god it is you," I said.
"Same here," he replied. He got changed and then we just sat on our beds and talked. DJ is the one that I usually come to talk to when I have personal stuff on my mind. He knows about everything, my anxiety and all of that. Also the thing with Brett.
"So what are you gonna do?" He asked.
"I don't know," I replied.
"Are you prepared for the worst Avery?" He asked.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I returned.
"You were the one who said things were suspicious that he was cheating on you and I'm thinking you know what if he is. What are you gonna do when you find out?" He said.
"So you are saying he is cheating on me?" I returned.
"No but what if," he said.
I walk over and look out the window. I see a few people standing there and don't make anything of it until I take a closer look.
"Is that Brett and Alex?" I asked.
"Where?" DJ asked.
"Out there making out," I said. I suddenly burst out of the room and down the hall and out the door to the back of the building. I see them there and I start running forward hearing someone behind me.
