The new girl

Chapter One

(Anabeth's POV)

"Sweetie please get up you have things to pack" I pulled the cover over my head and pretended not to hear my mom calling me from downstairs.

After a while I got up brushed my teeth and went back to my room to start packing everything. My mom had gotten a promotion so it looks like we were moving to Virginia...great.
My mom walked in my room. "Did you hear me I told you to start pa..." "I know I heard you" I said with a tone.
"Ok just making sure, there's breakfast downstairs hurry we leave in 30 minutes." When she leaves I lay on my bed and let out a big sigh, Do we really have to leave I think to myself. My thoughts are interrupted when I get a text from my best friend Emma.

(Texts)
Em😊: Hey Ana are you almost gonna leave??
Ana banana: yeah sadly..I'm leaving in 25 minutes
Em😊: say no more I'm coming over to say my goodbyes
Ana banana: lol ok I'll see you here

*knock* *knock*
"I got it mom!" I yell. When I open the door Em is standing there she doesn't even let me talk she just walks in and gives me a big hug. I imagine how I got such a great friend, we hug for a while before my mom tells me "Ana five minutes hurry up..oh hey Emma" "hello Ms.Reyes" she says smiling "sorry to keep you waiting I just wanted to say goodbye to Ana." "Oh don't worry about it but make it quick 3 minutes!" Em laughs and hugs me one last time "I'm gonna miss you Ana" "I'm gonna miss you more I say" while a tear runs down my cheek. "I'll be in the car Ana" "Ok mom be right there" I say. "BYE EM!" I yell as I get in the car, she waves and yells back "BYE ANA"
And that was the last time we were gonna see each other.

Sorry it's a really short chapter but I've never written before so bare with me people😅 also sorry there is no Jacob in this chapter I'm getting there!
