Prologue

I walk down the alley way and look around anxiously. Why didnt i just follow Lillie's idea and grab a cab! No i had to be the one to come out and walk to get fresh air! I dont need fresh air right now i need a cross. I walk past a couple making out sloppily against a brick wall. I walk by fast and hope i didnt interrupt them. I walk further down the alley way when i see ten people crowding around one guy. Theres one guy standing in the back from them and he's smiling wickedly. He snaps his fingers and the ten guys move in. The boy in the middle looks scared.
Walk away Faye whats the point! I look at the guys as they inch closer. Fuck!
"Hey!! Stop!" I scream running in the middle of the group. The boy who who snapped his fingers steps out and has an eyebrow raised as i stand in front of the guy on the ground who looks as shocked as i feel.
"Move." The boy says.
"No! You cant jump someone! Im not going to let you!" I yell at him
"And what does any of this have to do with you!" He says stepping closer in my face.
He is very hot. He has short dark hair with beautiful grey eyes, he has a devilish smirk and he is looking as though he's craving to let out some of his anger.
"The moment you decided to jump someone is the moment i stepped up." I say
He grabs my wrists and lays it against his chest. Im shorter than him so i have to look up. He's scanning over my body and i feel self conscious. Usually im ok with guys look at my body but when he looks at it i feel different.
"Your coming with me Fairy." He says
I open my mouth to say something but he interupts me.
"Say something and that piece of shit gets it. Understand?" He says
I nod scared to open my mouth not only in the fear for the man but for me as well.
"Lets go Fairy." The boys says holding out his hand.
I pull the straps of my purse up over my shoulders and grab his hand and let him and his goons lead me to my fate that lies ahead.
I shouldve just took the cab!
