Getting Myself Together

My mouth completely gapped open and when i looked up i seen kevi mouth open also . "Whose own is it" she asked me . I just shrugged my shoulders and kept looking down at the bag . It wasnt just an ordinary bag it was a Michael Kors Vanilla Back Pack . I know it was expensive just by looking at it .

"What should i do" i asked Kevi who eyes was glued to the bag . I know she didnt hear me and i didnt bother to repeat myself . I took the bag and put it in my jansport book bag which didnt consist of anything but a binder and some ink pens .

"Come on kevi , lets go" i said to her . I started to walk to the door but i immediately turnt around just to look dead in her face . "DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS" i told her in a low but aggressive tone . She just nodded her head and walked around me to head out the door . But it flew open and there stood the bitch i hoped to never see again in my life ... Tammy . She just stared at me and i stared right back at her .

She looked so different and i couldnt quite put my finger on it . But she most definitely stood out more to me then she did before . "Hey bitches" she said and walked right pass me like she didnt have a care in the world . I rolled my eyes and sucked my teeth at the sound of her voice . I walked out of the bathroom and we decided to call Setrie since we was ready to go . We plan on going to the gym this afternoon so we had to go home and get ready .

"Kema i think you should buy you a phone with the money you found" i stopped in my tracks and thought about it . Maybe i should but then again i dont know if i wanted to turn the money in or keep it for myself . I looked at Kevi and started walking towards the Sprint pcs store . I really wanted my own cell phone even though i had no friends to talk to which was kind of sad once you think about it . I grabbed the latest phone that they had in stores , it was a pink phone with flowers on it . Since i was so young i had to have an adult with me so we called Setrie back and had her to come into the store so she can put me on her plan .

"So how is this bill going to get paid every month" she asked walking up to us in the store . "Easy ma , dont worry about it" kevi said and i just smiled . Setrie just shrugged her shoulders and signed the papers for me . Once the money was needed for the phone i pulled out the $250 that was needed for the phone . Setrie mouth dropped and the expression her face read bitch where you get money from . I smiled at her "I had this money saved" i said lien my ass off . She gave the man the money and i had my phone .

I heard a voice behind me "Hey fat bitch" . I stopped in my tracks but didnt turn around . I was actually really scared to . But i felt my hair being pulled from behind and i immediately started screaming . I was thrown across the mall benches and onto the floor . I looked up and noticed people just staring at me and i felt anger build up in me . I got up to swing on Deon fat ass but someone grabbed me from behind and i didnt know who it was but i kept screaming "Bitch get the fuck off me" .

"No , just calm down" said a familiar voice . I then saw Chad walking over to deon . He was all in his face like he wanted to kiss him or somehing . Next thing i know i saw Deon back away from Chad with his hands up . I was so confused because Deon was most definitely not the type to back down from anyone . I was wondering what in the world did Chad say to him that made him want to back down . Where in the hell was Tammy ? I looked around for her but i didnt see her anywhere .

I looked down and saw arms still around me . I looked over to Kevi who was staring dead at me like she had done saw a ghost or something but a smile crept up on her face . I took the arms from around me and turned around to see it was Sean holding on to me . He looked at me and smiled .

"No one is every going to hurt you again lil ma , i got you" he said with that beautiful smile . I smirked and walked away from him .

It hit me that i didnt have my bag and i damn near panicked . But i looked over to Kevi who had it in her hand . I sighed and walked over towards her "Lets go" said a irritated Setrie . I knew she was mad because she dont like for men to put there hands on a women .

"If it was up to me i would of bust his big ass right in his shit" she said and kevi bust out laughing . Setrie is a fool with cool vibes . She caught Kevi's dad chating on her with some woman and she burnt the lady in the face with the iron . And im not talking about some little burn but the entire right side of that lady face was toasted . Me and Kevi call her grill cheese . Just thinking about it made me bust out laughing . Kevi looked at me "grill cheese" and i laughed even harder . I looked ahead of us and saw Setrie laughing also .

As soon as we walked through the front door the house phone was ringing . I was headed towards my room when Setrie told me the phone was for me . Damn who could be calling me i said to myself .

"Hello" i said in the receiver . "Hi Kema , this is Cindy from Champs in the broward mall . How are you" she spoke . "Im good , how are you" i replied . "Im okay you know hanging in there . I see you are interested in employeement here at Champs" . A wide smile came across my face . "Yes i am" ... She continued "well since i already interview you when you came in" i cut her off "You did" i was confused . She laughed ... "Yes i did , i want you to come in and get your training . Also to get your uniform" I had the biggest smile on my face and Setrie was looking at me all confused .

I mouthed to her that i got the job and she smiled at me . I didnt hear nothing Cindy was saying but i know she said for me to come in on Wednesday to get my training . "Okay so i will see you Wednesday at 8 a.m okay and oh congrats" .

"Thank you so much" and i hung up the phone .

I had the worlds biggest smile on my face . I walked to Kevi's room and knocked softly on the door . I crept It open and noticed she was laying in the bed on the phone with her legs open , biting her lips with her eyes closed . Her arm was under the cover and I immediately knew what she was doing .

"Yeah I'll ride yo dick backwards if you let me come on-" her eyes opened . When she saw me she bust out laughing .

"Bitch you nasty as fuck" i said with a frown .

"Gotta get it how you live" she shrugged . "No its not Setrie it's Kema" she laughed .

She looked at me "Chad said to get the fuck out" she laughed .

"in just came to let yo ass know i got the job at champs" i smiled .

"Congratulations" she smiled . "No get the fuck out and lock the door" she barked .

I laughed "Freaky bitch"

"Eat the dick while I'm playing madden , move my chain and give me brain call that a chain reaction" she finish the lil boosie quote .

I laughed and locked her room door before going to my room . I laid in my bed and just stared at the ceiling . A sigh left my mouth and then a smile appeared . I can't believe I got a job . I know my mom would be so proud of me if she was still around .

I wish I knew where she was . I tear rolled down my cheek at just the thought of her . I felt so many emotions when it came to her . I loved her and hated her at the same time . I rolled over and got comfortable. I whispered "I love you mom" even though she couldn't hear me .

I drifted off to sleep ...
