“Nice of you to think that low of me Alexis” Someone’s voice rung out. However, when that voice rung out, Conor froze on the spot and looked directly at me. I guess this was seriously bad. Oh, crap!
As the person behind the voice walked into the kitchen, Conor daren’t move. It was as if he was literally scared of a confrontation. Although, I’m guessing that this person is Conor’s manager or something to that effect. I know for one thing, I am not pushing myself on to national TV just for the sake of keeping Conor’s manager happy.
Conor’s POV
When the voice rung out, I knew exactly whom it was. It was the person who was literally forcing me to get my ass back to London for TV. I wasn’t doing it because I couldn’t keep uprooting Lauryn. She was already out of her comfort zone her at my mum’s. I don’t know if it was wise telling everyone about her just yet. Only time will honestly tell in this situation.
“So why are you here Alan?” I asked sub-consciously.
“I’m here to talk to you and your stupid girlfriend” He spat. He was definitely angry.
“Oi, I am not stupid. You need to leave though” Lexi retaliated.
“Oh yes you are miss and why do I need to leave?”
“Because Conor doesn’t go back to work until four weeks’ time, so therefore you have no reason to be near him right now. You also don’t have the right to interfere with his personal life, especially when it comes to his daughter. She’s only two and a half weeks old and she has lung problems. Do you want to be responsible for a child’s death? I thought not so why don’t you get back out that door and don’t come back until Conor officially has to go back to work” Lexi spoke angrily.
I know now not to get on Lexi’s bad side anymore, especially when it’s something to do with Lauryn. When Lexi said about Lauryn’s lung problem, Alan retreated. However, he didn’t like to be defeated, especially not by a girl. Alan hated girls with a passion for some reason, which is why he called Lexi stupid. All Alan really cared about was his boyfriend and my career.
“I’m sorry,” Alan muttered before walking out.
“Ok, what happened there?” I asked confused.
“I kinda maybe just told him off for trying to push a sick baby out into the limelight. Maybe with a few added extras. How his wife puts up with him, I’ll never know” Lexi spoke.
“Babe, Alan’s gay. He’s been with his boyfriend for over 3 years. And thank you for saying what I couldn’t”
“Oh. I feel like a twat now. Are you scared of him?”
“You could never be a twat. And I am a little bit. He’s just so strict at times,” I admitted.
“Aw, poor lickle Conor’s afraid of a little bald guy” Lexi mimicked.
“You’ll find that out when you’re on the road with me”
“Who says I’m coming with you?” She smirked.
“I’ll make you come with me,” I whispered huskily in her ear.
“That can be taken two ways. Unfortunately for you, you’ll be getting neither for four weeks” She responded.
“Unfortunately, I know. But we’re gonna rock that tour bus like nothing else” I smirked.
“Are you sure about that?” She questioned.
“I know so babe” I winked.
“No sexual innuendos around your little sister Conor” My mum scalded. Oops. “And you too Lexi, no innuendos around George or Lauryn for that matter”
