A Different Sort of Love(part 7)

And the third was from Adam again: HI, ITS ME ADAM AGAIN. SORRY TO BUG U BUT CAN WE HANG OUT AND MAYBE TALK ABOUT THE OTHER DAY? TEXT ME BACK.

I finally texted him back and told him to meet me on the sidewalk outside my house in ten minutes. I changed into a black sweet shirt with a big red X on the front and a pair of black skinny jeans. I grabbed my phone off my dresser and sneak out my window. Knowing very well that my mother would not let me out at nearly twelve in the morning to go somewhere with some boy.

When I got outside I turned to see Adam standing, with his hands in his jean pockets and wearing a dark blue hoodie, on the sidewalk.

I came up to him and he looked shocked, "What?," I asked giving him a confused look.

"Um...I don't know many girls that would climb out a second story window to come talk to me,"

I laughed "Well I just thought you wanted to talk," I shrugged and grabbed his hand, "Come on before we get caught,"

"Oh, so now it's my turn to get kidnapped?," he laughed.

I turned him around and I dragged him to the local park. No one was there at this time of night, and if there was they weren't going to rat us out. We went to the marry-go-round and sat in the middle.

"So what is it that you wanted to talk about again?" I asked hoping he would of forgotten and we could just hang out.

"Well the other day," he said smiling sheepishly.

"Oh yeah well about tha-

I didn't even got to finish. Adams lips were on mine that fast. At first I what was happening. My heart lept in my chest, when I finally did figure out what was going on I kissed him back and it all felt right. His lips and mine together and his hand pulling me close.

When he finally pulled away from me I was both breath and speechless. And I could tell he was the same.

"So I'm guessing you liked that kiss the other day," I said between breaths.

"I'm sorry," he said running a hand threw his hair.

"About what?," I laughed.

"About kissing you like that,"

"Oh, well I'm sorry for this then," I said taking in a breath, grabbing him by the back of his neck, and kissing him once again.

After I, this time, pulled away we sat there for minutes before talking. "So did you get a dress for home coming yet?," he asked as we walked over to the swings.

I sat down on a swing and he started to put he gently. "Yeah me, Christa, and Kently went to the store today," I said thinking about the question Lucas had asked me right before me and my friends left the mall.

"Hey Adam,"

"Yeah Alina,"

"Are we a 'thing'?," I asked, and then changed my question feeling wrong for using the word 'thing'. "I mean are we dating, like boyfriend and girlfriend,"

"Um...," he said stopping the swing and walking around to face me "I don't know,"

"Well lets put it this way, do you want to be more than friends with me?,"

"Yes," he said not skipping a beat, "do you?,"

And with out even having to think I answered him "Yes,"

I was surprised at myself. Even for the simplest thing I take my time and thing about it, but with this it was simple. When Adam kissed me the first time, it felt right. Like I was meant to be with him, and I could only hope that he felt the same way.

After he heard my answer he smiled down at me and I smiled back up at him. "Then will you Alina, sorry I don't know your last name yet, do me the honor of being my official girl friend?," he asked offering me his hand.

I took it, still smiling as I did, jumped up and said "I would be delighted to,"

After hours of talking- and the occasional kiss here and there- Adam walked me home. He gave me a kiss on the forehead before letting me go to sneak back up to my bedroom window. When I hopped inside the room and climbed into bed. But rolled back over when I heard someone else in the room. I looked to see my mother sitting in a chair next to my desk. She look mad and had her arms crossed. I had been caught. I growned and rolled on my back, preparing to hear the worst.
