Her. Her freedom was powerful. It seemed as if she could defy anything, even nature itself. But we knew that wasn't the case. She was eventually cut down, digging her own grave as she spoke the forbidden name of the Order. She was eventually replaced, but fear had snuck its way into our hearts, lurking in the shadows of our doubt.
Him. He had replaced her. He was a good leader, but he fought for the wrong causes. Fighting the way he did, he had given himself away. What a pity that was. Eventually he returned, but he wasn't the same. We rushed him to our medics, making do with what we had. They had done something we could not reverse and the fear took root in our minds.
Them. The Order. We were taught from a young age that they were basically gods. Never look them in the eye. Don't stare when they walk by. Always do what they tell you. Be on your best behavior around them. The simple things like those were what separated us from life and death. The smallest mistake, and we would be taken away from those we loved. We knew it was wrong, but there was nothing we could do.
We. We were small, the minority of the population. We didn't want to fight, but did we ever have a choice? We were cunning, sly, deceiving. At least, that's what the media said. In reality we were just 'We.' But it's We who chose to rebel. It was We who will fight. We who will fall. We who will rise and conquer. It is We who will end up victorious. Or at least that's the plan.
