   The shadow in the pitch black night moved jerkily towards Anthony on the bed. The sound of flesh tearing and loud growling filled the room while Anthony shriveled up in terror, clutching the bed sheets as the being got closer and closer. The moment the creature looked at him with glowing eyes, he choked down a scream.
     Suddenly, Anthony bolted upright in his bed, sweat clinging to his face. He was glad to be in the awaken world once again, but he was curious as to what had woken him up, as it clearly wasn't just the nightmare. While he was pondering his question, he heard a tapping noise at his window. He froze in fear as his legs unconsciously got up from the bed and walked towards the windowsill in a staggering movement.
      When he arrived at the window that was coated in dust and useless trinkets that he never looked or glanced at, he rose a shaking hand towards the curtains and in one jolting move of his hand, he pushed the cloth barriers aside so he could glance out at the source of the tapping. What he saw made him let out a sigh of relief, as the only thing he saw was a tree branch in the misty, windy outside atmosphere.
     However, the tree branch had lead Anthony into a false sense of security, for as he turned around, he saw the exact shadow from his nightmare, merely inches away from him wearing a sly grin. It's trap had succeeded once more, and he had won. Now, Anthony's terror had truly begun...
