Mike's P.O.V
" Mike, what's wrong?? ", Zoey asked with a nervous look on her face.
" Umm...I'm $15 dollars short..." I said shrinking down in my fancy chair.
" What?!" Zoey looked at the check and her face turned from happy to angry immediately. " Why would you not bring at least $100?! This is absolutely ridiculous Mike! " Zoey loudly whispered causing people to stare.
" Zoey, it's fine. Stop overreacting, I'll just ask the lady. "
" OVERRACTING?!" Zoey pretty much screamed. " How's this for OVERRACTING??" Zoey stormed out of the restaurant, leaving me there alone, with the check in my hand.
I later called the waitress to come back, she took the check and actually paid the $15 herself. She was very nice. Soon after that I had the nerve to leave the restaurant and go to my car where Zoey was. I got into the car and started the radio. It was silent until Zoey started to laugh.
" Why are you laughing? " I asked, still pretty aggravated about the whole freaking out thing.
" I was- la-laughing be-cause" she said between laughs. " I over-reacted so badly!! Hahaha"
All of her laughter soon got me to forget about the whole situation and enjoy the ride back home.
