"That I am. And you must the famous Zak Bagans" my voice was shaky and I'm pretty sure Zak knew I was trying to be flirty.

He nodded for me to come in, so I did I went through Aaron's main lounge room and went to the patio were I could hear them all talking.

"Aaron!" I jumped straight into his arms and he lifted me off the ground.

"Oh K! How've you been?" He squeezed me are enough that my circulation was beginning to cut off.

"Good, great." I nodded and reassured him.

"Honesty?" He whispered.

"Feel like shit but hey what can I do?" I winked and dropped my stuff off and got a beer and sat down.

We huddled around a little fire pit drinking and talking, I kept my eyes on Zak and he was watching me.

"That's a nice little outfit you have on there" Zak took another sip but you could see his wide grin.

"Oh yea um I didn't pack spare clothes and came straight from dancing." I picked at my clothes and made sure my cleavage area was covered.

I gazed off in the distance and a familiar breeze swept through our area, it was cold and dead. It was the same as the day I buried my family one by one. Goosebumps ran up my arms and I buried my fave into my hands.

"Excuse m-" I got up and headed inside.

I ran into the bathroom and sprayed water on my face, I didn't want them to see my crying. I heard footsteps approach and assumed Aaron was coming to me, I was wrong.

"Aaro-- you're not Aaron." I wiped my face and hung the towel up.

"Aaron told me about your family. I can't believe it, it hurts my heart so bad just thinking about it." Zak seemed really sincere.

I wiped a few tears away. "It's hard but um it was all out of my control."

"And you've grown up alone?" His eyes still remained on my even when I looked away.

"I've had Aaron but that's it." I anxiously played with my clothes trying not to look at his eyes.

I tried to skim past him.

"Why don't you look at me?" He laughed stopping me from leaving.

"I uh you're gorgeous but you probably know that." I let out a little flirty smile.

"Well well that was my opinion on you." He stood right up on me.

I wasn't tall, I only stood at Zak's chest making me stretch my neck to look him in the eyes. He moved his arm and glided it up my arm, my body reacted fast and goosebumps appeared again. My breathing became short and hard, I was loosing focus.

"God you're so tall" he had managed to push me up against the door frame and bent down a bit, I bit down on my lip.

"Don't bite on your lip, you look sexy as hell" I pulled off a smile and turned my head fast as Aaron approached.

He coughed. "Ahem. Zak Jeff is on the phone" Zak stood up letting out a small groan. He went off silently laughing, Aaron's eyes followed him, Aaron's eyes were full of questions and they turned to me.

"Katie?" He folded his arms.

"I swear Aaron nothing happened" I shook my head, puzzling at what just happened.

"Good. Now get your stuff I'm taking you home" he headed back outside.

As I gathered my stuff I overheard Aaron's and Zak's conversation.

"Dude don't go there." You can hear in the tone that Aaron was angry.

"Seriously?"

"She's been through hell and I won't have her falling head over heels only to get her heartbroken again Zak. She's like a sister to me!" He snapped.

"I wouldn't hurt her" Zak was calm through Aaron's little snap.

Let's just say his first impression was good.
