I'm back!!!! The semester end was rough, but I've been healing nicely and everything worked out well. I just got a job for the summer so I won't have as much time as I thought to write, but I'll still have more time than I did during classes. I have several cute ideas lined up, and I'm still working on that four part mini series, but as always, send in your requests and I'll start working on them! Thanks so much for your patience guys, and I hope you enjoy this!

Clint rubbed at his eye groggily as he pulled open his door and stepped out into the hall, heading to get his standard breakfast of over sugared cereal and black coffee. Another hard yawn pulled at his throat for what must have been the dozenth time since he rolled grumbling out of bed that morning. Definitely black coffee.
A sudden scent caught at his attention. His nose scrunched up as he tried to identify the strange smell wafting through the air. It was cheesy but...bitter? He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it only grew as he got closer to the communal kitchen of Stark Tower. Sudden understanding hit him as he rounded the corner to see you standing at the stove, breaking another of who knows how many eggs into a pan to add to the already impressively filled serving bowl of scrambled eggs beside you.
He chuckled as you rocked back and forth on your feet, bouncing your head to some silent tune. You spun around at the sound of his deep voice, (e/c) eyes sparkling with a morning joy that he could never quite understand.
"Good morning, Clint," you chirped. He grunted what could barely be counted as a reply, but you just giggled. You were all too used to his inability to be completely coherent so early, and almost on instinct, you moved over to the pot of the extra strong coffee you had already brewed, no doubt specifically for him. In one swift motion you filled a cup, set it in front of the stool he was settling himself on, and skipped back to the stove to pile a heap of eggs onto a plate for him.
He grunted again, something that sounded a bit more like 'thank you' as you presented him with the warm dish of eggs, cheese, bacon, and whatever else you had decided to add in. You stood there expectantly, trying not to be too obvious as you watched from across the counter and waited for him to to take his first bite. He dug his fork in, shoveling up the gooey mix into his mouth. He chewed thoughtfully for a moment, letting the...interesting mixture sit on his tongue with a poker face any gambler would be jealous of, before uttering his first true words of the morning.
"Excellent as always."
Your lowered hands laced in front of you as your head dipped, a blush breaking out across your cheeks. "I can't have my favorite superheros going hungry now, can I?" With an even greater bounce to your step you moved back to the stove, picking up your spatula and pushing the eggs around in the pan as Clint forced the rubbery mass down his throat. After only a few seconds, a set of footsteps had you spinning around to face the door once again, smiling brightly at the second person you would get to serve.
"Good morning, Tony!" Stark sauntered into the kitchen, hair rumpled from just rolling out of bed himself, but he stopped short when he saw the mess across the stove top and counters behind you. His face paled slightly as your eyes followed him, your ever present smile growing even larger. "Would you like something to eat?" You didn't wait for a response, immediately grabbing a plate and filling it with enough eggs for several people.
"Oh, no no. I think I'll just stick with coffee right now," he tried to decline. "Banner's probably already waiting in the lab, so..." He had made a beeline for the coffee machine, but you were suddenly in front of him, coffee in one hand and plate in another.
"Tony, you can't survive on just coffee," you pleaded. "You need to eat too."
Even with your big eyes begging him to take 'better' care of himself, he was getting ready to definitively turn you down, but then he matched Clint's gaze over your shoulder.
The archer's eyes seemed casual enough, but as they slid from a random point onto the wall to Tony's, the message was all to clear to him. If he broke your spirit by turning down your food, something would happen, and he most definitely did not want to figure out what that was. He nodded quickly, relief flooding into your expression as your narrowly avoided what you perceived as disaster. You made to place the food on the counter near Clint, who had looked nonchalantly at his plate as soon as you turned around, but he grabbed both items from your hands before you could set them down.
"Actually, I think I'll eat in the lab. Like I said, Banner's waiting."
Your eyes sparked with a sudden idea as he turned to leave. "Oh, wait!" You snatched the plate back from him, racing over to your bowl of prepared eggs, ignoring the completely overcooked serving still on the stove and piling the plate with as many as you could fit. Tony grimaced behind your back as the mound continued to grow, but he kept quiet due to Clint's eyes boring back into him. Finally satisfied with the serving size, you turned and handed the overflowing plate to Tony again. "Share this with Bruce, please," you instructed. "I bet he was planning on skipping breakfast like you." You returned to the stove to scrape the contents of the pan into your bowl, missing Tony's quick movement towards escape.
Clint nodded approval at Tony's tactics as the billionaire shuffled away with his plate of inedible breakfast. He took another bite himself, catching your overjoyed expression in the corner of his eye at his (apparent) liking of the food you cooked. He quickly but not too quickly followed it up with a sip from his mug. At least you couldn't mess up something as easy as coffee.
