Hey guys, taking a first crack at writing a story here. Now at certain times i may make up ideas as i go along so at that point I'm requesting help from the comment section. Tell me what you would like to see next and if i like and choose your idea i will give you an honorable mention. Thanks and enjoy the story. (excuse my bad grammar at times).
Hi my name is Keane Lawrence, I am 16 years old and I attend the Spearfield Academy. I have wavy black hair which has a tendancy to flow in the wind even though its not even a windy day (weird but roll with it) I am 6"2' and i normally spend my past time training in the fields with my two friends, Jov and Jamhonorable mention to my homeboys).
Jov and Jam are twins so naturally they both stand at 5"12' their hair colour is black and also spiky like mine. If i had to judge all of our strenghts i would say that those two have me pretty outmatched but thats fine, we're normally on the same team anyway.
Alright......... now lets get to the interesting part. Here on earth, only about 30% of the population are born with a special trait which grants us the use of supernatural abilities. We call these abilities Destros. Scientists are currently still unavailable to find out what causes these abnormalities and we the users are not even able to help out in their research as these are bloodline traits that absolutely cannot be traced. So instead of making the playing field uneven for regular people, The order was passed around the world that all under 18 must be enrolled in Spearfield academy. It wasnt a total bummer though, my friends got to come along and the girls here werent bad either.
"Another day........ another boring day!" I exclaimed as i walked through the school door. Afterall can you blame a guy. Nothing interesting happens at this place anymore, it has been like they lowered it to a normal school education."Seriously, what does it take for something new to happen around here!" Now Jamahl, Jovvan and I were kind of the trouble makers of the school. We were like the infamous trio here, of course, the girls didnt mind at all. The only exciting part of our day was team sparring, which was growing increasingly boring since we were too overpowered. Oh thats right, i haven't introduced my powers yet. I could materialize any weapon I wanted at will, Jovvan had a unique power where he could use any of the four elements to attack you and Jamahl is able to materialize lightning bolts in his hand and also form them into any shape he wants.
The bell rang, piercing every ear in the school, everyone flooded out of their classrooms like there was a fire, although with a water weilder in every classroom there would be no need to run. But everyone in my class knew that we had combat class now and anyone that comes late will be severly punished by the teacher, although.... with a body like hers, no way im missing class. It would also feel good to impress her by taking out the competition easily. You call it show off but i call it brownie points since we get extra credit fr winning so quickly.
My squad( you know already) quickly changed in the locker room and headed out to the battle field.
Ok ok, I maybe didnt tell u about the fourth squad member.... my bad. So there on the battle field all ready to go, we met Theo(honorable mention). He was a medium hight(5"10'), he is light skinned and has brown curly hair that looked like he just got out of bed, but he was no doubt a strong member. His ability is being able to rend space at will but only for a selected area and for a certain amout of time. Kinda cheating life but, oh well. As we grouped up a couple of our female friends walked by. Zoryda, Sarita and Shalian(honorable mentions). Zoryda was a short, curvy respectable and responsible young girl, but she was very shy, thus her power, invisibility. Sarita didnt have so much meat on her bones but hey, no ones perfect. She was a little taller than Zoryda and she was a very kind, sweet and loveable girl whose ability was mainly healing but she could also tell if a person is lying or not, dont cheat on her...... she knows. Finally we have Shalian. This girl I can say is one definition of wild, literally. Her ability is called wild card because its literally a gamble where it can range from controllimg plants to being able to rend time and space, I try my best not to piss her off.
So yea... they are on our team too. The rest of the squad comes later, a little patience is required.
As we head to the battle ground, Ms. Elis aka pinacle of perfection, not going in detail though. Keeping it PG for now. We have all known each other from day one so we get along great and our teamwork is without a doubt, perfect.
As that starting whistle cut through the air, the opposing team quickly ran to their barriers thinking that they were safe.
"I love it when they run like that, gets my blood boiling" i stated with bloodlust in my eyes. The point of the game was to knock as many people on the other team as we could into the giant pools. Thankfully Sarita can also calm a savage mind, which put my bloodlust under control.
"Materialize, smoke bomb" i shouted aloud in my head. The plan was to create a smokescreen to mask our team's appearance while Zoryda turned invisible and went towards the barrier. But this was a 50,50 chance we were taking because the enemy team may have a sensory type. We succesfully cleared one barricade thanks to Zoryda. Now we released the binds that we used to seal our imeasurable power and charged straight through.
Naturally there was no hope to them winning so i dont have to say we won here. Our team was unstoppable, I just wish they would start putting us on the frontline instead of having to stay in this boring old school. Yea i forgot to mention that we also help in assassination, war assistance and doing regular requests. Yep a team of super soldiers.
This is still our first year here out of 8 but we are determined to make the most of it.
