High in the dense Australian high country a creature moves through the shadows. Many claimed to have witnessed the large hairy creature roaming around the mountainside. Very few eyes are set upon it. Before the colonists arrived, stories of the Yowie or Yahoo came from the aboriginals. The yowies may have been the first humanoid residences on the large continent.
Many other cultures have a similar creature. Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, Abominable snowman, Batutut, Manananggal are all hominid cryptids which people know little about. That’s Adrian’s specialty, to know all about these creatures and how to kill them. To protect the human population from abnormal creatures and the creatures from humans. And himself from the humans. However, a Yowie isn’t the reason the werewolf leaves his friends and travels to the Australian Alps in the Victorian high country before the gold rush era in 1850’s.
Adrian's furry ears catch rumours of a werewolf colony living somewhere above Lake Eildon in a place that would be know later and Jamieson flats then as Jamieson named after the mysterious George Jamieson.
His lone adventure starts there.
