The day that started it all

A/N: Hello readers! This is my first story and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I'm going to upload the first chapter and see the response that I get from people, so if you like my story and think I should write more vote and comment. -Shadow

Shadows point of view.
I was on Facebook late as usual just scrolling though my timeline. When I got an email notification on my phone. It was from Of Mice and Men's manger saying that I was going to be able to photograph their upcoming tour date in Sacramento. I screamed for joy as Marly came running in my room with her trusty baseball bat. "What's wrong?" She says out of breath. "I'm got the press pass for Of mice and Men's show," I screamed jumping up and down. "No way," she said jumping with me. I couldn't believe it I was actually going to shoot Of Mice And Men. I looked up and Marly and said, "oh my god dude the shows tomorrow and and I have nothing to wear." Marly just laughed and said, "chill out Shay you can steal something from me." I hugged her and then I realized the time it was three in the morning and I had to be at the venue by noon to do interviews and get Marly her tickets. "Marly we need to go back to bed, and get sleep before tomorrow because I have a surprise for you." She nodded and crawled in to my bed and turned off the light. I smiled to my self and fell asleep peacefully.

Marlys point of view
I woke up next to and laughed as I saw Shay's  cat sitting on her face. I shooed Luna away and woke up Shay by singing and turning on pierce the veil. They were my babies and one day I would see them live. Shadow quickly got up and ran to the bathroom to take a shower, I smiled and laughed. Shadow and I have been best fiends since high school and we now live together in a small apartment. I can't wait for tonight Shay has wanted to see Of Mice And Men for a long time. Just as I was about to get up Shay came running out of the bathroom telling me to go get a shower and put my face on so is look cute for my surprise. I raised my eye brow and went to take a shower.

Shadows pov
I made my way into Marly's room to pick out something to wear for tonight. I had to good nice but also be comfortable enough to do my job. After all I was the best photographer in the city and I had a reparation to hold up. After about 20 minutes of trying to find an outfit Marly came in to the room with her hair in high bun. She grabbed her make up back and went back in to the bathroom. I can't wait to see her face when she meets Pierce The Veil. I finally settled on a black tank top and jeans with converse. I went to my room to get my make up bag and when into the bathroom. I did my make up along side Marly and put my hair up in to a poney tail. I looked at the time and it was 11, "fuck we need to go," I said as I ran to my room and grabbed my camera equipment and car keys. Marly fallowed me out the door. We got to the venue with 15 minutes to spare, and I rushed to the door with mine and Marlys passes. "I'm here to interview the bands," I say out of breath, "oh and she's my assistant." I saw to the bouncer. He nods and let's us in. As we walked into the venue Marly and I made our way to the stage and up the spiral staircase that lead to backstage. As soon as I opened the door I was picked up into a hug by a none other than mike from Pierce The Veil. "Shadow!" I've missed you.
