Ron's P.O.V.

Ron had just finished his last class of the day. Harry had gone off, running towards Hermione. Ron smiled. He knew there was something going on between the two. He was happy for them. Even he, since second year, thought Harry and Hermione would make a good couple. Obviously, however, they were keen on not letting him know.

But he had to find a way to prove it.

Ron walked back to the Gryffindor common room. Hermione was there, reading a book. She looked up at him and smiled nervously.

"Hey Ron." she said.

"Hey. Where's Harry?" Ron asked.

"Harry? He's...um...I don't know, actually."

Ron frowned. Hermione didn't know where Harry was? That was odd. They usually spent most of their time together. He nodded and went up to his dorm. As soon as he entered the room, he heard the common room portrait open.

"Hermione, you'll never believe what happened."

Ron smiled. Harry had come back. He and Hermione were laughing together, as they should. Ron emptied all of his stuff on his bed, changed out of his robes and into some more comfortable clothes and went back out. He looked down, but Harry and Hermione had gone from the common room. Maybe a date? Ron could only hope.

He ran out of the common room, but it was too late. They were gone. Shrugging off the disappointment, Ron walked through the hallways, feeling bored. He decided to go back to the common room to start his homework. He couldn't slack off like he usually did because they were picking Triwizard champions tonight. Ron was excited for that.

While walking back, Ron bumped into Neville.

"Oh, hey Neville!" Ron greeted cheerfully. Neville, however, seemed really nervous, nodded, and walked to the library quickly.

"Neville, wait, where are you going?" Ron asked, catching up to him.

"Uh, library. Going to do my Herbology homework there." Neville said.

"Oh, sweet, I was going to do that, too. Can I come with you? We can do it together."

"Alright..."

Ron ran to the common room, grabbed his Herbology stuff, and met Neville in the library. Neville was already buried in his book, reading intently about Cool Blue Ivy. Ron sat next to him, pulled out all of his stuff, and started his essay about Cool Blue Ivy.

After a bit, Ron wondered if Neville knew anything about Harry and Hermione's relationship. Maybe that was why Neville was acting so anxious around him. Ron put down his quill and looked to Neville, who was already done but re-reading his essay, checking for any mistakes.

"Hey, Neville?"

"Yeah?"

"Have you noticed that Harry and Hermione are spending a lot of time together lately?"

Neville stopped reading. Ron knew it. Neville knew something. Neville packed up all of his stuff, quite hurriedly.

"Oh, uh, I didn't notice. That's news to me." He said.

"Come on, Neville, you can tell me, I'll be happy for them if they're dating! Besides, I'm their best friend. They would want me to know. They're just too scared to tell me, I can feel it!"

"Um, well, I...uh."

"Please, Neville?"

"Fine. They're dating."

Neville ran off from the library. Ron smirked in victory. Harry and Hermione were dating. He didn't know why they didn't announce it. Everyone was saying behind their backs that they were perfect for each other since second year. Either way, it was finally happening.
