Depression is one thing stoping it's victims from leaving the house.
It swallows them up in the sorrow, and makes them think negatively.
But when we think it's all better, it comes back and doesn't let you sleep it fills your head with tempting thoughts.
Depression is one thing that stops it's victims from leaving the house.
When your friends want to go out, you say " I can't, I have to finish up some homework".
Lies, lies, and more lies bring you closer to the corner of your room.
Your friends seem to fade away like a rainbow after a rainstorm with all the good memories, that are taken away by the monster known as depression.
The tempting thoughts come closer and closer, your trapped inside this meaningless life you think.
But someone will understand the pain your going through like the 20% of teens like you, NO you won't let anyone in your world controlled by the monster known as depression.
Your parents don't notice their to busy planing another party.
Your friends keep asking why you always have to finish homework even when you don't have any; and your teachers keep bugging you about getting your grade up before the report cards come out.
Today you failed another test and the teacher said she will be calling your parents.
Depression is the one thing stoping it's victims from leaving the house.
When you get home your parents say " your teacher called and said you failed another test, you need to do better we can't have our child wrecking our reputation" you just stare at them for a while than go upstairs and cry silently.
You are at your lowest pint after another failed test, and tear stained sheets you lie on thinking will it ever get better?

PuisiThis is the spoken word I wrote for school, so keep in mind this is a school assignment. ------------------------------------------------ For this assignment I wrote many drafts to get it to the best of my ability, so please don't copywrite.
