I enter my house with a heave of my chest. It's been a long day. I can't wait to jump on the couch and watch Netflix with some chocolate of any kind. What should I watch today? I wonder to myself. Once Upon A Time! Noo... Haven? No... oh! I'll watch The Vampire Diaries today! I put my backpack on the floor next to the couch and go into the kitchen. When I look in the cupboards I see that my mom went to the store today. I grab a mega Hershey's bar and open the fridge. I grab a chocolate milk, self-jug. When I get in the living room my backpack has been opened and everything is on the floor. I get down on my hands and knees to pick everything up off the floor.

When I'm done picking everything off the floor I sit on the couch. Then I see that my chocolate milk is gone. I look around and see it has disappeared. I just shrug it off and go back into the kitchen to get another one. I walk in and one is sitting on the counter, unopened and untouched. I stare at it for a second and then pick it up. I walk back into the living room and jump on the couch. I grab the remote off the coffee table and turn on the T.V. I turn to the channel for Netflix and go on my account. When I search 'vampire' The Vampire Diaries is the first thing to pop up. I click on it and choose episode one of season three. I read the summary of that episode and my eyebrows go up. It sounds very exciting so I start watching while I am sitting comfortably on the couch. My legs sprawled out and back curved in a weird shape that probably looks like it is very uncomfortable but isn't in the slightest.

Half way through the episode my head starts hurting so I take my long ponytail I've kept it in all day. My hair shapes my face in an annoying way. My eyes surrounded by long eyelashes. They are almond shaped with a light green shadow on them today. With black as night eyeliner that is thin and pretty. I don't normally wear makeup but today was a special day. Today is the day of my one year anniversary with my boyfriend. We have been together for one year but technically it's been over a year. We dated for about half a week until we officially started telling people we were dating. Our first date was a school dance and it was seriously awkward. We didn't even talk to each other we just sat there awkwardly and stared down at our shoes or watched the people have fun and dancing. Our second date was Dairy Queen and it was very awkward at first but then we started talking. He tried to buy my ice cream for me but I refused. When we sat down, that's when it was even more awkward. Then when we started talking we lost track of time. We were at Dairy Queen for two hours, but it only felt like a few minutes. I don't know if this counts as a date but we went to The Family Fun Center for my brother's birthday. My older cousin Tianna tagged along to make sure we weren't doing anything naughty. We wouldn't do anything anyway. I've never had my first kiss.

Once the show ends I go into my room and start to do my homework that is due tomorrow. I'm a nerd that is two years ahead in math, one year ahead in history, and one year ahead in reading and writing. But my boyfriend is too which makes me feel better about myself. His name is Bryan and he has deep red hair that goes down to his ears. His eyes are a beautiful blue mixed with hazel and his cheeks are naturally rosy like mine. He has an average size nose. He's a little chubby but it's ok. He plays football while I play basketball and volleyball. He's a football fan and so am I but I'm an even bigger baseball fan. He's silly and weird while I am loud and weird. I'm always really shy around him though. I always forget everything when I'm around him. He's so handsome and I'm ugly. He always calls me beautiful but I never agree with him. Our nicknames for each other are "Handsome" and "Beautiful". We always say good night and good morning to each other every day. There is no other feeling like the feeling of his arms around me. His skin is always so warm against mine. He never gets pimples like I do; he will have one or two at a time while I have four or five at a time. He is a very sweet boy and is always giving me compliments. Whenever we hug his strong arms wrap around me and make me feel safe. We hug every time we see each other; before we say anything and before we leave each other.

Then there is a knock at the front door. I look at the clock next to my bed and see that I was thinking about him for half an hour. I walk out of my room and into the living room with the white carpeting and green walls. I look through the peep hole to look and see who is there. I smile so big my cheeks hurt. It's him. I open the front door and the screen door.
