There's a saying that goes, "if you love something set it free and if it comes back, it's yours". But what if it came back and left again? For the one who followed the saying do they relive it and wait? Or does that one finally give up? If your the person who was set off unknowingly but knowingly knew the feelings the person had for you would you put them through such an emotional phase just because your lonely and vulnerable at the time? Or would you be the person who cares enough not to hurt them more than they already are? Well, what I can say is not everyone thinks before they act and the outcome of that can only hurt the both of you.
Way back when I was 14 years old I finally understood what it was like to love someone. Not the way you love a family member or a pet, but to truly be in love with a stranger. It's funny because no matter what they do to you, you still would go back to them over and over and over again. Well that's until you finally have the strength to pick yourself up and leave them. But I figured, what do I have to leave at 14 years old? I even thought I was going to marry him! I had it all planned out. Wedding on the a glistening beach with a catering hall just 100 feet from the ceremony. My bridesmaid in aqua strapless gowns while being barefoot and myself barefoot with my white and crystal wedding gown that would slightly run across the sand as I walked towards the love of my life. But then people start to disappoint you or take advantage of you and all your dreams and happy memories you had together are just memories. The worse part of it is trying to get over them and every single day you think about them. It can even just be their naming popping up in your head and you are never able to rest unless your sleeping. Or even worse, you dream about them which I would call a nightmare. A bittersweet nightmare.
The typical immature boy under the age of 23 would call you hot just to get in your pants. Or they'll talk to you for a while and make you feel like their world and then they pop the question. Oh no I don't mean "will you marry me?" question, I'm talking about the other four worded question that a lot of people hear on a daily basis. "Will you have sex with me?". Actually that's five words but you get the point. Boys and girls seem to think that the only way you will be in love with each other is if you have sex. But men and women know it's more emotional then sexual desires. Although sex is the number one intimate physical bond someone can have, it's gotten out of hand and misused in this day and age. And that's when you get heart broken. They wanted you for your body and pretended that they liked you for you. They'll even say, "I do like you! I do like you for your bubbly personality and beautiful eyes but I think we should do it". That's when you know you went in too deep. But it will be okay. Sometimes boys just need to be boys and by the time life has hit them in the ass hard enough because of they way they have been acting all their lives; children; They'll grow up.
At least that is what I thought.
