Dean sat with Cas in the kitchen.
"Why is she acting that way?" Cas asked Dean, who was getting involved in the movie.
Dean shushed Cas, placing his hand on the other man's leg. "This is the best part," Dean said, mouth full of popcorn.
"But Dean, it is very clear that she loves the other woman. Why does she need to-" Cas began, trying to analyse the entire movie.
"Shut up!" Dean playfully shouted.
The credits began to start and Dean rolled his eyes. He stood up, taking the red bowl of popcorn with him.
"Dean, are you angry?" Cas asked, following Dean to the sink.
"No," Dean grumbled. He turned around and threw a handful of popcorn at Castiel's face.
Cas just stood still, confused. "I'm pretty sure you're angry. What happened?"
"You ruined the movie!" Dean admitted.
"I- I'm sorry, Dean. That was not my intention. I was just asking a few questions so that I could understand what was going on. You humans have some emotions that us Angels don't, so it is harder for me to understand moments like that."
"Cas," Dean sighed. "You can feel those emotions, too. I know you can." He began to walk closer to Cas, taking the other man's hands in his own.
"Dean, what are you doing?" Cas asked. He stepped closer to Dean. Now the two were so close that Dean could feel Cas's breath.
"Just- let me do this, Cas," Dean begged. Cas nodded. Dean began to move in closer, the space between them becoming smaller and smaller. Dean felt like it was taking forever, but finally their lips touched.
Cas pulled away, shocked. "Dean-"
"Cas, please," Dean sounded so defeated. "I love you."
Cas paused for a moment. "Dean, I lo-"
Dean shot up, seeing Sam standing over his bed.
"What the hell, Sammy?" Dean grumbled.
"We have a case," Sam said, pulling the covers off of Dean. "Get up."
"I am!" Dean sighed. He swung his legs over the side of the bed, preparing to stand. Dean looked down for a second and saw a bulge in his pants. "Sam, can you leave?"
"Hurry it up," Sam ordered as he left his older brother's room. He shut the door behind him and Dean fell back onto his bed. He picked up his head and saw that he did, in fact, have a boner. Dean let out a loud sigh, sitting up again. This time he actually stood up and headed to his drawer.
He quickly pulled out a burgundy shirt and jeans. He looked around the floor of his room, searching for a belt. When he couldn't find it, he changed his shirt.
Once Dean was dressed, he headed to the kitchen. He opened the fridge and grabbed a beer from the bottom shelf. When he got up and closed the door, he saw Cas.
His hair was messy and he was wearing a baggy pair of pants with an old tee shirt. Dean paused for a moment and looked closer at the shirt.
"Cas, is that mine?" Dean gestured towards the large black shirt that Cas was wearing.
Cas looked down at the shirt, and then back at Dean.
"Sam said I could use it," Cas answered.
Dean took a deep breath and nodded. "Alright. Just don't mess it up."
"Okay, Dean," Cas said, his low voice reminding Dean of the words he had almost said in his dream.
"Cas-" Dean started as Cas walked away. He closed the fridge and walked over to the angel.
"Yes, Dean?" Cas looked at Dean the same way he did before they kissed in his dream.
"I- wait. Can you go into people's dreams?" Dean was beginning to panic.
Cas just smiled and walked away. "I love you, Dean."
